The most dangerous place on earth holds the key to their freedom. When Islamic militants infiltrate an elite British counter-narcotics programme in Afghanistan, disaster is averted thanks to ex-SAS soldiers John Patterson and Dusty Miller. But when fall-out from the affair threatens to topple the West's fragile Afghan alliance and expose failings inside the UK's new crime-fighting agency, John and dusty suddenly find themselves on the wrong side of the law - and on the run. "Not far off plagerism?"
I listened to this book and as it went on it seemed more and more familiar. I finally saw where I was getting this idea from and if you consider the whole book the similarities between this and 'THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING' are remarkable.
I don't think I am being unreasonable and I did enjoy listening to the plot updated to two soldiers in Afghanistan.
