"Wonderfully absorbing"
This is the first book i have downloaded and was sceptical as to listening to rather than reading a book. I was in for a great suprise, this is a thoroughly good book and so well narrated. At first i thought i would listen to it a bit at a time but could not stop listening until it had finished. I liked the fact that two or three cases were going on at the same time which made the story line more interesting.

"Not great"
I get the feeling I didn't quite 'get' this book. There were a couple of different threads going on in the story, and they seemed to be totally unrelated, so I'm not sure why they were in the same book...
I didn't like the narrator, and found that she didn't differentiate between the lead characters well, so I lost track of who was doing what.
Maybe I should have read/listened to the other Women's Murder Club books first, and this may have made more sense then, but after listening to this one, I'm not tempted to get the others.1 of 2 people found this review helpful
