Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon have undergone many hair-raising adventures before - but never one quite like this.
Jungles come in many forms. There are the steamy rain forests of the Burmese highlands. There are the lies and betrayals of the world of covert operations. And there are the dark and twisted thoughts of a man bent on near-global domination. To pull off their latest mission, Cabrillo and his remarkable men and women must survive them all.A devastating new weapon unleashed in 13th-century China... a daring rescue in the snowbound mountains along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border... a woman gone missing in the jungles of northern Thailand and Myanmar... for Cabrillo and company, all of these events will come together - leading to the greatest threat against US security that the country has ever known.

"Clive Cussler is hard to beat." (Daily Mail)
"Delivers what it promises." (Financial Times)
"Decent Story Line"
I enjoyed the story and the narrative but for me there was too much technical detail about oil rigs, boats and aircraft. Perhaps others will be interested in that aspect but I found myself drifting off and wishing that the book would get back to the tale. All in all though I did enjoy it but not as much as other Cussler stuff.
"A really good audiobook"
This was my first cussler audiobook having been a fan of the written word books for many years. I listened tothe unabridged version and thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to all cussler fans!
"Entertaining"
This was a very entertaining listen, I really enjoyed this title. Would recommend to everyone, you will not be bored.
"The Oregon crew yet again succeed"
As usual an exciting adventure from the Oregon Files. A bit slow at the beginning but soon speeds up. Juan Cabrillo and his crew as usual pull out all the stops and come up on top. Like many of Cussler's stories you begin to wonder could something like this actually happen sometime in the future. Who knows? Get the book and enjoy the story.
"At last ... Cussler comes to Audible"
I've been a Cussler fan for years and have found myself hooked on any new material the moment it's released. The Oregon files are always reliable and this latest venture does not disappoint. Highly recommended.
Now, Clive, when will you release all your other books to Audible?
