"Reasons not to waste your time with this"
The central tenet of this audiobook is misguided when viewed from a health point of view (stating you can eat anything in moderation - which, to be fair to the title of the book, is true from a body fat point of view). The author knows, as he states it several times, that weight, fitness and health are all important but completely ignores this with some of this methods. Also, it takes a long time to go anywhere and could have been accomplished in half the time or less.
Finally, I don't know why the author didn't do the narration (as his introduction was fine); the chosen narrator sounds like an American newsreader and has the emphasis of sentences all over the place in addition to a strange take on tempo.
I have found The Body Fat Solution to be an extremely helpful aid in my weight loss journey. Tom Venuto writes in a logical and well thought out manner. He tackles every obstacle you could come across and helps you to pin point beliefs you did not realize were standing in your way of progress. Loved listening to this, was one of the best audio books I have bought. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in loosing weight and getting in great shape.
This book has a lot of practical advice on calories and just eating what you need for energy with a lean towards weight based exercise. Basically calories in versus calories out, which most of us probably know this already but it was easy to listen to and great for resetting your mindset allowing for better decision making about food choices. Good book for dipping in and out to keep the mind focused.
This book is terrible. It has no coherent thesis nor arguement. Do not buy this book.
