"Grisham delivers a suspenseful plot at a breakneck pace." (Publishers Weekly)
"Gripping...a genuine page-turner. Grisham is a skillful craftsman." (The New York Times Book Review)
"Complex but utimately satifying"
This is vintage John Grisham: a complex web of deceit in high places aided by some unethical lawyers against whom the few good men (and in this book a woman as well) fight and ultimately succeed in achieving justice. I found if I didn't concentrate fully on the story I got muddled as to who was whom among the FBI, CIA, White House employees, newspaper men, lawyers, businessmen and criminals! They're all there in this intricate thriller that keep you listening.
