"I stuck my finger under the edge of the paper and jerked it under the tape. 'Shoot,' I muttered when the paper sliced my finger. A single drop of blood oozed from the tiny cut. It all happened very quickly then. 'No!' Edward roared ... Dazed and disorientated, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm - and into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires."
For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of an evil vampire but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realise their troubles may just be beginning.©2006 Stephenie Meyer; (P)2006 Random House, Inc.
"Ilyana Kadushin - great narrator"
Even though she's female, Ilyana Kadushin somehow manages to capture Edward's voice perfectly. It's not tht she changes the pitch much, she just gets the right intonation. She's a fantastic reader, especially through all the emotional parts - and there's a lot of emotion in this book. It's probably my favourite of the four Twilight novels.
"A really good read"
I decided to purchase this book about 2 months after seeing the screenplay of Twlightlight. The story is both interesting and well read, the characters come to life and the tale holds your attention throughout. Special credit should go to the narrater who is the best I've heard yet. Well recommended if you enjoyed Twilight
"nail biting"
a roller coaster ride that will leave you breathless
"good story but chapter 12 is missing"
I liked the story and recommend the young naive love romance and bit of angst to anyone who likes it.
The audiobook for this volume has chapter 12 missing and last chapter duplicated. Missing chapter wasn't a problem for me since I have the book already.
"Loved it!"
Love all of the twilight books. Great to be able to listen on the go!
"Awesome Books"
While I am reviewing New Moon I actually love all four Audio books in this series. The reader is just wonderful to listen to and the slight changes in voice for the different characters really grows on you. The stories themselves are really good too, of course and I really wished they hadn't got to the end in some respects but it is also good to get to the end and let imagination wander....
"New Moon: The Twilight Saga, Book 2"
Good but a bit of a mix up hard to follow
"Great Book"
This is a much better book than the first book Twilight. What you have to realise with these books is it is a progressive story and Twilight was the building blocks.
This book however is the next stage for Bella, and relationships with the people in her life.
Exciting listen.
"great book to listen to or read."
loved reading this book over and over...and now...love listening to it over and over!!! fab download!!
"Twilight Saga - New Moon"
Although many readers appear to have enjoyed this book this was a serious let-down for me. After watching the Twilight film and reading the first book which i enjoyed, this book was seriousley lacking, un-gripping and somewhat hollow. Although i stuck with the story to the end it left me wondering what else i could have been doing for the last 14 hours!
