"I can't stay awake till the end!"
I've tried a few relaxation tapes but none of them have helped me sleep as well as this one. I have been using it for a few weeks and only once have I not drifted off during it.
A lot of relaxation tapes ask you to lie on your back and progressively relax your body. I find that I tense up with those kinds of tapes rather than relax. This one doesn't do that, which I like.
It seems like I don't have to 'do' anything, or concentrate on anything (he gives my mind permission to wander) and that makes it easier to relax.
The music also helps the relaxation as it gradually slows my breathing down.
If you are looking for something to help you sleep, this is definately worth a try.
"Very helpful"
This title is in two parts, part one helps you sleep and part two is intended to produce lucid dreaming. The concept of lucid dreaming is that the dreamer is aware of dreaming and can, theoretically, change the course and the outcome of the dream. This is particulary useful if you suffer from nightmares or night terrors.
I have been listening to this title almost every night since I purchased it and find that it does the trick for me. I either drift off to sleep listening, or more usually, fall asleep after listening. I would certainly recommend this rather than sleeping pills to help develop good sleep hygiene.
The lucid dreaming technique in part two might not appeal to some but as I am interested in this technique, I find it very useful.
To summarise, if you are not interested in lucid dreaming you may be better with a title that concentrates soley on deep sleep.
"Brilliant!"
Due to a variety of recent life events my stress and anxiety levels are high resulting in a poor sleep pattern. The lack of sleep was impacting greatly on my work performance and my ability to manage the stressful situations in my life. This CD (downloaded to my ipod) has helped enormously and using it guarantees me a good nights sleep every night. I always start with chapter one and rarely make it to chapter two! Using the CD has inproved both the quality and duration of my sleep and it is now my alarm clock that wakes me - gone are nights of wakefulness.Having tried a various other self-help relaxation CD's, with little success, this is the one that works for me. I have no hesitation in recommending this CD and hope it works for you!
"Doesn't do what it says on the box!"
This is the third Glenn Harrold audiobook that I have purchased, and the other two have been quite helpful, but this one falls flat.
The second track leads you into a particularly nice scenario of a quiet garden, but then GH launches into a teaching session on a concept he calls 'lucid dreaming', and this I find rather offputting.
Finally, I find that on the nights I use this I always wake abruptly and completely in the early hours of the morning, and that's the main reason that it gets only 2 stars.
"I'm not sure how this ends...."
... because I've rarely got to the second track, as I'm usually asleep before the end of the first....
This has been a godsend at a time when I've not been able to sleep due to stress. What else has he done?
"deep sleep"
I saved a fortune on herbal sleeping tablets when I invested in this title. Its seemingly quite a basic production compared with other Glen Harold cds but it really works for me.
I still wake in the night but get back to sleep within minutes by breathing deeply and repeating his "go to sleep" mantra to myself.

I have always really struggled to sleep and have tried lots of different methods to fix the problem. This audio book has really helped me get into a better sleep pattern and I do find I sleep better generally when using it. I wake up in a positive state of mind and definitely recommend it.
"Think it does work"
When I have put this audible book on before I sleep I generally am much more motivated the next day. I would recommend along side listening to this book you keep a log of your current sleeping habits so that you can compare the results yourself! Ultimately if you don't try it you'll never know if it will work for you.

I find this really useful for helping me settle at night and empty my head of the days worries. Highly recommend.
