    "Critical Thinking at it's best."

Richard Dawkins speaks sense....simples! I went on to purchase his book 'The God Delusion' and it was a deep thought provoking work that analyses every intelligent argument for science and against religion, particularly of the omnisicent eternal all knowing god types. He explains in detail all the types of Agnostic, Atheist and Believer etc. Some good humour in there too for those who may enjoy a dig at those who are quite frankly deluded.

    "Very intersting"

I have to admit that I've had a bit of a prejudice against Richard Dawkins over his rather over-confident assertions about Darwin's theories completely explaining evolution. I'm a biologist (and certainly no creationist) but can see that there are grey areas that we can't explain. However, I was won over by this interview, in which he was reasonable and interesting, and I will certainly listen/read his book.

    "Short but great"

Richard Dawkins is one of the great minds of our time. Heavily opposing all forms of religion, he is not afraid to speak his mind and explain his position. Very cleverly so, I might add. A great little addition to the book 'The God Delusion'. If you are ambivalent about the subject of faith at all or you just want to listen to a very gifted and intelligent wordsmith, this is a great listen.

    "Honest"

Quite short but well worth listening too.

Richard, as ever, is honest , open and knowledgable. Interviewer asks some good questions too, avoiding some obvious ones.

    "The RELIGON delusion"

It was quite interesting to hear the famous Richard Dawkins himself defending his ideas that God is a delusion. However, from my point of view, I think Dawkins has reached a wrong conclusion based on the arguments he had chosen. All his arguments points against almost all the established religions and not against God him or herself. The way most established religions has been interpreting the supposed message of God is a delusion, but that does note mean that the idea of God is a delusion. Now I am really curious to see if in his book he makes a better case against God or not.

"Interesting, but not much new in this interview."

Good introduction to the writing and contrapuntal reading of the audiobook version of TGD, including some autobiographical detail by Dawkins on his own faith and subsequent rejection of it.

However, I was hoping for more detail of his own reasons for adopting atheism, or a summary of his arguments. He elaborates on his vertical transmission of the religious meme theory, and his "computer virus" analogy, but never addresses the well documented evidence, that religious people seem to live longer, be happier, and are healthier than the norm (which would indicate some benefit, not a harmful parasite).

Overall, interesting, but not much new in this interview. I really wanted to hear about the further development of his thinking since TGD was published.

"Good interview but bad introduction to the book"

Lots of people seem to have read this as an introduction to the God Delusion rather than as an interview with the author and based their decision on whether or not to buy the God Delusion on this. I think the interview is interesting but the book was fantastic and I don't think the interview does justice to the book. Spend your credit on the God Delusion regardless of what you thought of the interview, it might change your life but if you don't find it enjoyable or useful then audible will refund your credit if you ask them.
