"Very helpful - as long as you act on it"
Having struggled with my weight for over 30 years, and having the usual low self esteem because of it, this audiobook came as a welcome surprise.
You do need to act on all the positive affirmations and suggestions of course - but put it this way: I bought this shortly before going away for Christmas. I happily turned down every chocolate I was offered, and by the first week of January had lost 4lbs in weight. Of course it's a long term effort, but first signs are pretty damn good.
"Amazing and brilliant"
I really was sceptical that this could change the way I eat and help me to lose weight, but I'm definitely a believer now. After just the first time of listening to the recording I no longer had food cravings for all the usual junk foods high in sugar and fats. I no longer snack between meals and do not even have the urge to. I really do feel healthier after just two weeks; it really is amazing!!
"Lose Weight Now"
Early days yet, I have only listened to the CD twice, but I am very impressed with this recording. I no longer want anything sweet, I simply cannot even look at a cake, biscuit or chocolate. Also I am constantly aware that fatty things do not appeal to me; If I am hungry between meals, I reach for a glass of water and it satifies me until my meal. Try it, you have nothing to lose except weight!
I was skeptical too. I don't make a good hypnosis subject as I am quite resistant. But this tape has really helped me rev up my motivation, and seems to be really working. Relaxing too.
Excellent download for relaxing. Not entirely convinced that it leads to weight loss but still very enjoyable.
Not sure but I think I am picking different food and eat less. I also fall asleep after 5 min only.
This was a first time experience for me and I was leasantly surprised to find it both relaxing and motivating on first hearing. I did however, want to go back to my old habits quite quickly and needed to listen again. I think if I listen to this regularly it will definately help. Even if it does not it is a very relaxing experience.
"This audio book works"
I have only used this audio book twice....as it worked first time. I bought the book about 6 weeks ago after hearing the author / narrator in an interview. I liked his voice. He sounded very down to earth. I looked into his publications on Audible. The titles were all bold and specific. I bought this as I thought to myself, 'what have I to lose for a few pennies - the price of a magazine'....and hey presto, the first time I listened, I changed my eating habits, like that. I listened a few days later to the second half (there are 2 different hypnosises within the 1 hr recording) and I havent looked back since. I have lost nearly 5 kilos in 6 weeks and it has been easy. In fact I havent even been aware that I am doing it. At the same time as I bought this book, I switched to a healthy eating programme so Im not sure which has been the cause of my new found determinism but I have lost weight and I do not feel as if I am on a diet nor do I feel deprived so I'd like to shake Glen Harrold's hand - a cyber shake of course.
