When Darcy McCall loses her beloved Aunt Molly, she doesn't expect any sort of inheritance - let alone a small island. Located off the west coast of Ireland, Tara hasn't been lived on for years, but according to Molly's will Darcy must stay there for 12 months in order to fully inherit, and she needs to persuade a village full of people to settle there, too. Darcy has to leave behind her independent city life and swap stylish heels for muddy wellies. Between sorting everything from the plumbing to the pub, Darcy meets confident Conor and ever-grumpy Dermot - but who will make her feel really at home?

"Pure Escape"
Very enjoyable listen, felt the ending was missing something though. Curioisty got the better of me and discovered the epilogue is not included in the audiobook which is a shame.
"Great book"
This is the type of book that you just leave your brain in a bag. It's such an easy book to listen to and the characters are simple and the story and ending are obvious, but if your after something gentle then this is the book. You can just relax and lose yourself in the place the book is set in, I did wish that I could live there certain days when my life was getting a bit hectic.
"Castaway in Ireland"
A girl more interested in her fashion status than much else, is left an island by her auntie, on the proviso that she rebuilds a community there, and stays for a year.
Darcy grows over the year, as does the community, and the Jimmy Choos are replaced with wellies and an appreciation for rural life, while she is left undecided over the moody builder or the flirty boatman.
"Breakfast At Darcy’s"
Let’s all go live on an Island!
Ali McNamara paints a wonderful audio picture of how you can triumph over adversity with a little bit of self belief & the help of good friends…oh & that love can blossom when you very least expect it.
By the end I really wished I could go & book little retreat getaway on that very Island.
I wish there were more McNamara titles on Audible.
"Breakfast? I wish it was Lunch and Tea!"

"ISLAND LIFE"
Loved this audio. Will definatly listern to this again, I would love to be in Darcy's Shoes, proves what you can do if you set your mine to it. Loved the fact that is was set with an Irish theme. Great Charecters!
"Breakfast at Darcy's"
