"Massively entertaining... one of the brightest, most inventive comics in the country." (The Times)
"Good shows get laughs, great shows get applause, O'Briain got cheers. His genius is not debatable." (Evening Standard)
"Damn, this man is good. If you want a comic who can hold an audience in the palm of his hand or two hours, here's your man." (The Times)
"Dara O'Briain is hilarious"
Dara never fails to crack me up, he is an Irish man living in England so his hilarious insights about England and Ireland are funny for everyone! If you want a really good giggle I would recommend this.
"Hilarious!"
I was listening to this on a train and I had to switch it off because I could't help laughing out loud
"laughed till I cried"
My sister recommended Dara O'Briain to me, after watching his DVD, so I quickly downloaded this prior to a train journey. I think I may have alarmed several passengers on the Burton to Gloucester train with my silent shaking and stomach clutching, and tears streaming down my face.
Highly recommended - but best listened to in a place you can be free to laugh out loud without looking insane.
"Excellent!"
I downloaded this based on helgacabbage's review and I'm very glad I did! Unfortunately I listened to most of this on the bus, so I also got a lot of strange looks from people due to badly suppressed giggling at the back of the H22. Dara O'Briain is wasted on tv shows, his stand up is much much funnier.
"classic funny"
Brilliant humour
"Brilliant and clever"
I've listened to this recording about 100 times, and I still think it's fabulous. His interactions with the audience are the funiest...such an amazingly quick mind.
"Sidesplittinglyfunny"
Dara O'Briain has one of those very 'comfortable' Irish accents that are oh so pleasing to the ear. I listened to this whilst walking my 4 dogs and found myself guffawing out loud (to the surprise of a fellow walker I hadn't seen). If you are feeling down, then this is a real tonic!!
