A new series of the fantasy-based sitcom set in Lower Earth. The intrepid band of Questers, led by Elven Lord Vidar, set off once again on their search for the Sword of Asnagar which is the only thing that can free them from the tyranny of the evil Lord Darkness. Joining Vidar on the Quest is Dean, the dwarf, Penthiselea, an Amazon warrior princess, Sam, the human, and Amis, the Chosen One (formerly Sam's dog who took human form when he arrived in Lower Earth - he alone can wield the Sword of Asnagar that will defeat Lord Darkness). Each episode sees the valiant team on another adventure as they heroically try their best not to get killed. Starring Stephen Mangan as Sam, Alistair McGowan as Lord Darkness, Kevin Eldon as Dean/Kreech, Darren Boyd as Vidar, Ben Miles as Byorthnoth, Sophie Winkleman as Penthiselea and Dave Lamb as Amis. "Very entertaining"
As someone who used to play World of Warcraft and has a general love for all things geeky, this radio program is a great listen. The cast are perfect, and I could quite happily listen to Alistair McGowan playing Lord Darkness all day long. Hoping for a third series. Bravo!

"Finally something my kids can agree on"
If you have a teenager and a younger child then you'll appreciate how hard it is to find something that pleases both. This is it. Ever since we heard the repeats of series one on the radio, we've all become addicted to Elvenquest. These are funny, family friendly radio dramas, finally putting an end to the arguments over what we'll listen to on long car journeys. Please make more immediately!!!!

"Still funny but"
I loved the first Elvenquest and could't wait to hear the 2nd series. I did enjoy it and I did laugh out loud but not as much as the 1st series.
