Publisher's Summary

Such a pretty face....

So young, so sweet. She appeared out of nowhere, in the middle of traffic, on a busy day. A teenager with no past, no family - no memories.

Such a lovely child....

So blond and beautiful. Carol and Paul were drawn to her - she was the child they'd never had. A dream come true. And then Carol's nightmares began - the ghastly sounds in the night...the bloody face in the mirror...the razor-sharp ax.

Such a relentless evil....

So deceptively innocent. Most mothers would die for such a darling little angel. And that's what frightened Carol most of all.

    Story
    "Very good... Just too short!"

I am becoming very fond of this author having now read a small selection of his previous work, this being my fourth I think.

This book is very good, I wont go into any detail, as i have a habbit of accidently giving things away. Anyway, the only reason this book got 4 stars as opossed to 5 as I found it was too short. I would of enjoyed the story to continue longer, as well with the ending i would of liked to been able to explore that more as opossed to the slightly abrupt ending that was given here. Which I suppose in a sense is a credit to the author as I did not want the story to end.

As with all his books, the characters are fantastic and truely likeable and he has the ability to make the us the readers feel really intune and 'want' to follow these characters wherever they may go!! Super read.
