"Fantastic book!! Very useful"
The narration of the book is really fantastic, Tim Wheeler has great voice.I also like different topics that are covered around this book. It gives an idea of how we can train our children about finance and also there is a lot adults can learn and think about the financial information provided in this book. Author has not only gave us thought process but also gave an idea of how to start with it. It changed my perspective of thinking towards money, rich people and managing our finances.
An inspirational book. Recommend this book highly if you want to learn how to take control of your finances and make money work for you!!!
I haven't finished listening to this book yet and one of the reasons it's taking me a long time to get through is that it's read in a very monotonous tone, which makes the material feel more boring than it needs to.
But I also have problems with the content of the book, since the author spends so much time telling us to accumulate assets instead of liabilities, but doesn't really get down to the nuts and bolts of how to do that, which is frustrating.
"Practical Principles with a Personable Delivery"
This book is for you if you are starting your journey in financial education.
The audio is of a high standard but most importantly the narrative offers a personable friendly approach.
Although the subject matter maybe a bit dry the author and narrator have created a piece of work that will keep you engaged, entertained and enthused during your listen and weeks after.
A great listen.
At the very least add it to your wish list.
"Really gets your head into the right space"
The series of Rich Dad Poor Dad books are excellent. They really get your head into a different and more useful financial space. I wish I had read these books when I was at school rather than going through half a life-time of making do and limiting thinking.
They should be required study material at school and universities. I have given my daughter a copy so she can listen to it now before she makes the same mistakes I made.
Get it as soon as you can and listen or read it and then take action!
Great points of view on how to see life and work. As the book says, this should be taught in schools. I have met so many we'll educated hard working people who only manage to get by because of their outlook, which is that of the poor dad. This book is well worth a read.. or should that be.. listen. It is well narrated and pleasant to listen to.
Absolutely love the book, very helpful and full of great advices. i recommend this book to all those enthusiasts who want to start their business.
"A audio book that changes your life!"
What a book this book gives you a whole new perspective and truly makes you feel smarter. It's certainty a must read or must listen in audible terms. If you need help finantially or desire to become rich this is a download for you. I would like to say thanks to audible for making it so easy and cost effective to get great books into busy life's. For the first time I look forward driving to work because I can listen to great books and if there's a traffic jam that's even better more chapters!
"Listen Again and Again to Refresh"
Even though I have read the paperback a long time ago, I felt the need to read this again, but now that my circumstances have changed [married and a one year old taking up the time]. this audioversion was more than welcome. I listen when driving to work[only time i have for myself]. It feels a bit different from the one I have read but it is not. The feeling that the reader puts into the lines is great and would listen again and again if I need the financial kick on my backside when I slack off with my investment goals.
This book is the bible on which all other get rich slow but sure books are based. A must for people with no background of finance or money[like me, I am a Dr in Dept of Emergency Medicine]. Just go for it and you will feel that you have not read this book in the past , even though you have indeed.
This book encapsulates capitalism and for the most part whatever your philosophy, the advice is sound...at least from a 'Western' stance. Kiyosaki is clearly very passionate about the subject matter which adds an air of confidence and authority to his book. Some have criticised that the whole,'rich dad' thing is a fabrication...I would suggest that this is an irrelevance. Any successful entrepreneur will tell you that acting 'as if' is often a given. Kiyosaki can get carried away at times and make what I would say are ridiculous suggestions such as education being for mere fools......and this lets an otherwise excellent book down. At times, Kiyosaki apologises for being unfair...and then continues to be just that and there can be a two-faced element to his arguments as a consequence. Narration is always important with audiobooks and Wheeler's approach is impeccable. I'd encourage Kiyosaki to take some time out to embrace some more Eastern practices as money alone whilst important is ultimately a mere fabrication of mankind. Nevertheless a very enjoyable listen...if at times a tad trite.
