My Turn

It is very hard to be unmoved by this book. At times, Norman is struggling to keep the tears at bay himself.

I strongly recommend this book.

This audio book is great, well worth the money. I would like to point out that I could not sit down and read a book but find listening to audio books like Norman Wisdom's My Turn great. You would not think a person like Norman Wisdom would have had such a life when all he does is make peope laugh. Nice one Norman!

A humerous,remarkable and sometimes emotional reliving of Norman's life as read by him. If you have a tenner to spend, spend it on this. A throughly uplifting and insightful read.

Anybody who,like me grew up watching Norman Wisdoms films will love this book.

As a child I loved Normans films and still enjoy them today. He may not have known it but his films helped many children to laugh at there own short comings and face the bullies of life. When I started to listern to him telling his life story and how poor his own chilhood was I couldn't help but cry. In a strange way I felt guilty that I wasn't there to help someone who had often made me happy as a child. This is well worth a listern and is all the better for being read by himself and I hope that one day soon it is made into a film as I think it would make a great movie maybe with himself played by Lee Evans.

I got this and had to listen to it in one go. It is read by Norman Wisdom and you feel as though he is sitting talking to you personally, it isn't a bit like he is reading more like he is just speaking to you and at times he gets quite emotional. I have always liked him since being a kid and watching him on films and tv. Now I just love the man for his honesty, integrity and humour. Get it you will not regret it.

A wonderfully touching and emotional story by Norman of how he managed to come from a very impoverished childhood and make it in the entertainment world. A star who had nothing but happiness in his eyes, if you are interested this is a very special tale indeed.

Really enjoyed listening to Norman telling his own autbiography. Not an ounce of self pity even though he obviously had a hard 'early life'. He was a very gifted individual and obviously well regarded.
