The Dark Side of Disney reveals all of the tips, tricks, scams, and stories that THEY don't want you to know about! Unabashedly unafraid of offending the family-oriented audiences catered to by other Disney travel guides, author Leonard Kinsey gives intrepid travelers access to the seamy, raunchy, and often hilarious underbelly of Walt Disney World.
From cautionary tales of scoring illegal tickets, to thrilling accounts of exploring off-limits areas, to chronicles of drug-induced debauchery, this completely unauthorized guidebook will change the way you think about vacationing at "The Happiest Place on Earth".

"Very edgy alternative Disney World planning guide"
This is a no holds barred insight from the mind of someone who clearly enjoys Disney, but who has no regard for rules, laws or regulations, and with that mindset offers you some down and dirty tricks and tips to jump through all sorts of loopholes which will not only save you time and money, but gives a big finger up to the corporate side of the mouse in the process.
Most of the tips are great, and should be used by everyone (eg avoiding the ticket touting scams and seedy time share schemes) and other tips (such as pretending to be disabled to gain benefits) I won't be doing, and I will let you decide whether that steps over your own personal moral barometer. It does for me.
In addition to the dodgy tips and tricks, the author also intersperses these with fascinating accounts of some of his many WDW adventures (such as illegally trespassing into the backstage areas of Disney) which are often also very funny (especially when he talks about taking his mother through the famous utilidors)
In summary, whether you are shocked, grateful or just downright disgusted, you have to applaud the author for having the balls to put down on paper some of the sneaky tricks many Disney World visitors have been getting away with for years.
