    "The Narrator Spoiled the Show"

The Narrator is a huge and intrusive part of this collection, in segments that are often as long as the short clips that follow him - or at least seem that way. After the surprise of the first few, I began to wish he'd just stop - and fit in more material. After half an hour, when the intermission poetry was still grinding on, I felt robbed of what it could have been. Come on - this isn't expensive material to buy. You could have had much more comedy and much, much less of the slow quatrains of introductory poetry.

I did wonder if I'd have understood the scene without a six minute description in verse beforehand, but you know....I think I would, yes.
