Rapid Polish, Volume 1

I have used several of the other Earworms Learning courses before and found them to be excellent especially the Spanish courses. I had been working with some Polish people and wanted to learn some of their language so was delighted when the new course became available. I am really pleased that it is as good as the others. I feel I have been progressing well and, as with the others, I find that the relevant words/ phrases just pop into my mind when I need them. The voices on the course are very clear (I have found this not to be the case with some other language courses) and I really like the way that there is a fun, light-hearted approach. The little mnemonics and course booklets with the course are very useful too. I'm looking forward to further volumes.

This is the simplest and easiest way to start learning the basics you need. Not the school based learning we are used to but a way in which common and useful phrases and the names of things we use and need become familiar. Most importantly the flow of the language loses its strangeness to be as familiar as an English Regional accent. It won't make you brilliant at Polish conversation but you'll have the confidence you need.

I bought this audio book on a whim, i have tried other audio books in the past and they bored me to oblivion, so a few years later i thought i would try again, and what a pleasant surprise, from start to finish this book is fun and easy to learn from, needs to be listened to many times, but always seems to put a smile on my face and relaxed me while listening to it, if you are looking for an audio book to start learning Polish then this is second to none, if you already know some polish then a different audio book is for you
