"A very good story"
Held me right to the end lots of twists and turnes. Robin Odo (Hood) always makes a cracking tale
The grittyness of this tale makes you rearly believe in him and how it rearly was in those days and not all gentleman jim stuff. also what put the iceing on the cake for me was the narrator Mike Rogers
Thanks again.
"Stirring stuff"
I think that Angus Donald has a done a great job of bringing the period to life. He makes Robin a complex Mafia figure with international connections, always one surprising step ahead of his (mostly) loyal man, Alan Dale. The characters are well drawn and the battle scenes are great.
"struggling"
I am really struggling with this audio book. Although the narration is okay, the voice lacks depth for other characters. The story has a plot twist that I knew before it was revealed and the story is rather dull.
Im currently on the 3rd and final part and am pleased its drawing close to end
