Two teenagers discover true love aboard the doomed ocean liner....
Elizabeth Farr never wanted to return to America. During her family's vacation abroad, she has fallen in love with England, and is despondent when her father refuses to let her stay. Returning to New York means having her debut into society, and that means a swiftly arranged marriage. Elizabeth will never go to college, never learn to be a reporter - as she sees it, her life is over as soon as the Titanic reaches port. Of course, if she's unlucky, her life will be over far sooner than that.
As Elizabeth and her family settle into their first-class cabins, Katie Hanrahan, a young Irish girl with dreams of finding fortune in America, makes her way to a steerage berth. Both girls have plans for the future, but love and death are about to intervene.

The story held me from start to finish. It compared first to third class so you can get a more overall picture of how the different classes were different from each other.
When Elizabeth finds Max on-board the Carpathia.
Yes kept wanting to return to find out out happens to the characters and who survived and who didn't.
"Ok story; great narrator!"
The story was ok. I love Julia Whelan as a narrator; she makes a story come alive!
Beyond my expectation. The moments when the father had to put his wife and daughter on the lifeboat. That whole episode was so heart rendering. The narrator was fantastic! The whole book was great. Made to feel like reader was actually on that Titanic. Would like to read more of her books with the same narrator.
love the story heartbreaking as it was it was a good story the characters were believable
"Love Titanic stories"
It was a great story. Some similarities to the movie, struggling artist, red hair beauty. And the ship still sinks. But I like how it was written.
