Summary

Penguin presents, this downloadable, unabridged audiobook edition of the second title in this number one, bestselling spin-off series from Percy Jackson creator, Rick Riordan. This crazy messed up world of gods and monsters is Percy Jackson's reality, which pretty much sucks for him. Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, God of the Sea, has woken from a very deep sleep and come face to face with two snake-haired ladies who refuse to die.

But they're the least of his problems. Because Percy finds himself at a camp for half-bloods, which doesn't ring any bells for him. There's just one name he remembers from his past. Annabeth. Only one thing is certain - Percy's questing days aren't over. He and fellow demigods Frank and Hazel must face the most important quest of all: The Prophecy of Seven. If they fail, it's not just their camp at risk. Percy's old life, the gods, and the entire world might be destroyed...

Good start to the second series:

As good as the previous series, bringing in new characters and monsters. As the prophecy unfolds what else has been kept from our heroes?

Great story, really well told

Loved this book as I have loved listening to all Rick Riordan's work to this point. First person novels annoy me when I read them, but as an audiobook, when told as well as Joshua Swanson does here, they are brilliant. Best audiobook series since listening to harry potter for me.

Better performance by Swanson than before

It took me a while to get used to Swanson. He reads in a more serious tone than the previous reader in the PJ-series. But he did a much better job here than in the previous book! loved it.

Rick Riordan does it again!!

I am constantly amazed by these books and how ever more exciting they become, I recommend these books to everyone if you're even the slightest into Greek mythology. The voice acting is fantastic as well, definitely a winner for me.

I love the story

Swanson needs to be more expressive though. Especially with Hazel and Frank as their voices changed throughout the book a bit.

Enthralling story

Enjoyed this tale of the heroes of Olympus from beginning to end. Rick Riordons books are always entertaining, I especially like the Percy Jackson series of books, I just wish there was more of them...
