The fourth book in the best-selling Heroes of Olympus series - set in the explosive world of Percy Jackson - now available in this unabridged audio download.
The stakes have never been higher. If Percy Jackson and Annabeth fail in their quest, there'll be hell on Earth. Literally. Wandering the deadly realm of Tartarus, every step leads them further into danger. And, if by some miracle they do make it to the Doors of Death, there's a legion of bloodthirsty monsters waiting for them.
Meanwhile, Hazel and the crew of the Argo II have a choice: to stop a war or save their friends. Whichever road they take one thing is certain - in the Underworld, evil is inescapable.

Pretty high up. Its well read and interesting. I must be hooked I have the whole set so far.
Frank fighting a huge bunch of monsters on a bridge in Venice. He's usually a very quiet character and he suddenly grew (literally as it turned out).
Bob the giant. He is such a sweetie.
Through Hell and back?
I am not a kid. I have a classics degree. I just enjoy these books, they tackle the myths in an engaging way. Go Romans and Greeks!
I ENJOY HISTORIC BOOKS AND FUNNIES AND WILL READ FOR HOUR GIVEN THE CHANCE I LIKE GREEK MYPTH I LOVE ANIMALS AND REED ALL JAMES HERRIOT
good book very nicely told could listen to it again and again and possible will
the accent and pronunciation of some words changed from the last book, making it strange to listen to one after another, but its okay once you get used to it, its still a great book
love the set better than harry potter! little disappointed with the reader! would prefer to have the female chapters read by a female! Can't wait to start the next book!
Prefer YA fiction to the real life!
Listeners need to know that this isn't the last book in the series (i know, the waiting is worse than Harry Potter!). If I knew that before I started, it might have been a little easier to enjoy! I kept wondering how so many loose ends were going to be tied up in such a short space of time...Anyway, this is a much darker book than the others. It has to be, as most of it is set in the unrelenting underworld of Tartarus. At times, I was reminded of the Tunnels/Deeper series, in which joy is hard to find. However, it was the little bits of fun and joy that made the book for me. We knew what the task was and how it was to be achieved, but Riordan managed to weave in enough interesting challenges along the route to enhance the experience. They didn't feel like a list of chores that had to be achieved either. It was nice to have Leo visit the mystery island that Percy visited a few years before. The revelations about Nico D'Angelo also made his character more well rounded and I look forward to seeing his character become a little more realistic in the next book.
Bob and his little cat!
Leo and ......?
Jason deciding where his head and heart lies.
The Tartarus Pizza bar.
Festus' gaining a whole new perspective on life.
Venice looks different through the eyes of a half blood!
It's difficult to give favourite moments without giving spoilers!
Probably not. The good thing about the audible app is that you can speed up the voice. He was way too slow and whiney. He ain't no Jesse Bernstein (the reader of the Olympus series). His pronunciation of Gaia drives me nuts and it's easy to tell when he got tired during the performance as it is not consistent. He hasn't got Bernstein's sense of ownership and love of the story.
Hell Hath No Fury Like a Half Blood Scorned.
or Tartarus - Where Sarcasm is a Weapon!
This book is a little more formulaic than the others. Each person gets to go off and have a mini adventure with other characters, just like a team building interview exercise! It feels a little fake at times (what am I saying, this book is about demi gods!).
"I love this book ♥퍼시 잭슨 다음편 입니다.♥♥"

"This is a bad recording."
The narration is very hard to listen to. The only reason we have kept it is that my dyslexic son loves the story and wants to listen but if it was me I would have returned it. It is painful to listen to.
It seems like he is talking too close to the microphone.

The story is a perfect continuation to Mark of Athena. This is enough for me to rate the book as good.
Everithing is perfect. The way Rick Riordan distributes the story, without forgetting the two groups of heroes
