I wondered what my life would have been like if we had never moved to the ho-dunk town of Spring Valley, Illinois. Sure the Internet service was splotchy, there was nothing but miles of wheat fields, and I probably wouldn't be faced with death at every corner. My only neighbor in this god-forsaken town was...well there really was only one to describe him, hot as hell. With his sinful dark looks, unusually silver eyes, and kissable lips, there was something about him that was more than meets the eye. Of course I was determined to find out. Chase Winters might be drool-worthy, but he was also insufferable, arrogant and...in short a d-bag. Our relationship was anything but love at first sight. Not even close.
There was something weird about the family living next door. What I hadn't expected to find was an underworld of trouble. Chase and his cousins Lexi and Travis are Divisa, half-demon, half-human. Getting them angry was hardly in my best interest, not if I wanted to live. As it turned out, that might be the least of my problems. I've been tagged by hell. Now every ugly, nasty being from hades was on my trail. I have suddenly became a magnet for demon disaster, and the only way I am getting out of this alive was by putting my life in the demon spawn's hands. One wrong decision and my butt was toast.

I just so so love this story and listening to it was just amazing!!!
What can I say I love everything about this story. I so love Angel and Chase they are my favor!!!
All of them.
I have to say at the end where Chase save Angle form the ripper.
This is so a great story I can't wait get start on the rest of this series.
I think it was a strong first in a series book. Looking forward to the next one. Chase will keep me interested.
Saving Angel is a Good start to a series! I'm excited to see where this series goes! I love Chase & Angel! I love all the extra characters as well!! The narrator did an ok job! some Times I swear she sounded REALLY FUNNY TRYING TO DO THE GUYS VOICES THOUGH!!
"The story line and plot are awesome! Bad narration"
I haven't read the print version but I wish I had. The story itself is very good. The narrator, I thought, was terrible. Very bland and not a lot of intonation. Didn't give much life to the characters.
My favorite character is definitely Lexi. I love the way her personality was so cheerful and so accepting of Angel.
Very monotone with the characters.
I do plan on continuing with the series but in print instead of audio due to the narrator. I wish I could return the book and get my credit back.
"Great Book series to get into it!"
Yes. My cousin likes the same kind of books that i do and i really think she would be very interested in Half humans and half demons.
The idea behind the book.
I have many scenes that are my favorite, so i can't really say.
I'm not good at making tags line, but i will try. Angel.... I'm a Divisa....stay away from me.
I had noticed while actually reading the book at the same time as listening to the book. The person narrating the book sometimes had a different word or sentence instead of what was in the book. It was minor i remember it was only a few times during the book.
It is captivating and addicting I listened to this in 2 days. and now to the next book!
"Good YA book . very sweet love story "
it a very sweet YA love story but I not happy about hearing the voices in the background and all of the noise that makes it very very s***** .
"Good, but it is a rip-off of Lux Series"
The story line isn't bad but the whole book is basically a carbon copy of Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. All she did was pretty much change names and appearances. The story line is the same, the character personalities are the same, even the events that happen are mostly the same. If you haven't read the Lux series you would think this book is genius and amazing, but sadly most of us who have read this book have read Lux, and this is just way to close for my comfort. There are FAR to many similarities to be considered a coincidence.
No way! YA is my favorite genre. I am a total YA whore!
I loved the tone and pace of her voice, I wish they would have kept her throughout the series. The narrator for the 2nd and 3rd book has more of a whiny and high pitched voice that just isn't my favorite.
All of the scenes that were copied from the Lux Series by JLA
At first, when i read the similarities to Lux i was irate and refused to continue the series, but after reading further reviews that mentioned her books veer off of the path of the Lux i decided to give it a go. So far, the second book has a few similarities but none like this one does.
"funny new an interesting"
I found my self laughing a lot through out this book.
angel is more self aware the most teen heroines and is more steady in her likes an dislikes ...expect for two things her utter knee weakening want of two things wanting to ravish chase an to bitch slap him.
At one point she says the perfect description of their relationship "combustible lust" they both want in each others beds but can't seem not to drive the other insane either. an unlike most series that chemistry doesn't just magically go away as they fall for each other ...they don't just instantly become a happy couple.
In fact it doesn't happen at all in this book.... they have a connection sure but both so hot tempered it tends to get in the way. which makes this story unusual and extra hot all at the same time. I love angel...she's fun..she's mouthy an I even adore her video game addiction
I only wished they would have included losing Emma at the end of this book or start of the next or put part 1 an 2 in a book of their own... I hate having a book series were only part of them are audio.. I buy books for my family who have reading disabilities an can only enjoy books via audio so its tough when I can read more of the series then I can buy for them to enjoy as well....
"Yes it seems like a copy of the Lux series"
So I want to start off by saying it seems a lot like the Lux series by JLA. But they are published in the same year with the Lux series being first. I'm going to give the author the benefit of the doubt and say she just maybe had a similar idea and used JLA's story as a huge model.
Personally I'm okay with it, the Lux series is good and it's fun to read/listen to a similar story. If you like tragic romances with angsty teens, demons, and lots of romance and drama you'll enjoy this.
