To keep the people she loves safe, Sara left everything she knew behind. She soon learns this new world is nothing like her old one, and she struggles to make a place for herself among the Mohiri. But it soon becomes apparent to Sara and to everyone one around her that she is not your typical warrior. As the weeks pass, Sara builds new relationships, copes with her new trainers, and tries to manage her ever-changing powers while keeping her unique heritage a secret. Looming in the background is the constant shadow of the Master, who will do anything to find her.
Sara finds herself on a journey of self-discovery that uncovers her true strengths and awakens a part of her she never knew existed. She experiences the delight of new friendships, the sweetness and pain of first love, and a loss so deep it could be the thing that finally breaks her. At the end of it all, she discovers that the one place she was supposed to be safe might not be the refuge she thought it was.

The second instalment of the Relentless series was amazing. The continuing story had me gripped me from page one. There are new characters, especially Jordan, who I adored. Nickolas was as dreamy as ever and the relationship between him and Sara was fabulous. I spent the last two hours on the edge of my seat. This is fast becoming one of my favourite all time series. The narrator grated on me terribly in the first book but I found myself loving her in this one. She no longer rushed through sentences and I didn't hear her swallow once. I honestly can't recommend this book, and series, highly enough.
"Love this series more than what I thought I would!"
I’m on the edge of my seat listening to book two in this series. If the comments I’m reading about the third book being the best book in the series; than I know it will push me over the edge. This series is awesome! Just when you think things are about to calm down in the story; the author surprises you by turning up the heat!
"Epic, very good book"
Awesome book, can't wait to listen to the next in the series. very good book.
I am so engulfed in this story. I can't wait to hear more! On to Rogue.
A page turner with well developed characters and great plot. Loved the twists and turns, and most importantly, a long awaited, slow simmering romance finally being acknowledged. The author gave me everything I needed from this book. Can't wait to begin the next one.
"The Riveting Continuation of Sara's Story"
Yes. In fact, I already have. This story is so gripping, sparking a myriad of emotions.
I love Jordan. She is tough, hilarious, and completely loyal. My second choice would be Desmond... because he is Desmond lol.
Yes. She also narrated Relentless, by Karen Lynch. I think that, in this book, Ms. Greer slipped some when transitioning between male characters. Otherwise, I feel she did a good job. I didn't rate her lower for this book because there are so many more characters.
I had many extreme reactions to this book. I laughed out loud, felt warm and fuzzy, had my heart swell with love, and ugly-cried. This story had all of the feels.
I really enjoyed learning more about Sara's undine abilities, and the creatures associated to it.
I love this series! I had read this book before listening to it and it and I'm a huge fan of Karen Lynch. I really enjoyed rereading it through audible. The narrator did a fantastic job. I think this series is great because it's different from others I have read. Fresh story line and I honestly feel like I can relate to Sara. Thank you Karen for this awesome series!
"Wow! Loved it!"
I loved the accents that Caitlin Greer had. It was so awesome.
I loved all the surprises and turns that the story took...and I was seriously not prepared for some of the big reveals!! But I loved them!
It's between when Tristan sits Sara down for "the talk" and when Nikolas and Sara have "their talk".
When your demons come out to play.
I've never liked audiobooks before, but this one was great! The vocal pace was good, and i never cringed at the accents.
I can only say that this book is the perfect follow up to the first one. It did not disappoint! I love the new characters and the friendships that were developed! The story was captivating and I was yet again entertained from the first chapter!
Really enjoyed this book felt like it inspired me to write my own possibly.I don't see though why everyone feels like they always have to be politically correct and every single book. It throws the readers off if you come from a refreshing angle only criticism.
"What a surprise!"
I'm so happy I found this book The Last teen type of book that I read was The Hunger Games and I have to say this series is quite good and I hope they make a movie out it! there wasn't a part that I was bored at or rolled my eyes like I normally do with young reader books. yes it had a lot of similar things like other books with vampires and werewolves but that's why we listen to these sorts of books right? I recommend this book a hundred percent I'm on the 3rd one right now and it's only been 3 days since I started them so that says a lot because I'm normally not like that with a book!
