Two people from completely different worlds are about to be thrown together...in more ways than one.
She wants to keep her scholarship. He wants to stay on the team. An awkward alliance doesn't even begin to cover Rimmel and Romeo's relationship. But that's about to change.
It starts with a dare. An initiation. A challenge. Quickly it turns into more. But when you're a victim of your status, there is no room for anything real. The rules are clear and simple: Stick to your circle. And never fall in love with anyone on the outside.

"Fresh Story - Interesting Format"
This is the first in a series. The plot has been done but not overdone. Hebert does a great job of main character development although I think she could have amped up the supporting characters. She also left some loose ends that I would have thought she would have tied up in book one. We will have to wait and see for book two and book three.
The narration is female, male ping pong which is becoming popular. The preponderance of POV comes from Rimel. The narrators do a solid job. This book will appeal to light romance readers and is R rated but just barely. If you are looking for "steam" pass, this book is on the sweater side.
I do recommend going forward with the series. Although, I do recommend taking a book or two off and then coming back for book two. It is not a series that you have to go right on to book two to see what happens.
"#GreatBeginning to a New Adult Series"
Read this and you won't regret it, if you like New Adult romance... though their lives are far from the normal college student which makes the entire series far from the normal new adult romance that sometimes is starting to feel a bit overdone. If this is only the beginning, I can't imagine where it goes from here.
"FEMALE NARRATOR IS A ROBOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ok, so she may not be a robot, but she was monotone and boring and she was talking like Ben Stein from Ferris Bueller for christ sakes!!!!!!!!!!! OK she wasn't all that bad, but she didn't sound like she was into it either. The story is awesome! I love how the hot guy always falls for the nerd or dorky or even fat chick. Gives us fat dorky nerds hope! Well, not me cuz I married my hot guy. But, even so, I gave 5 stars because I think the story line is awesome. She's a nerd, he's a jock, he needs help with school work, she is forced to give it. They are in college and he wants to be in this frat and to get in he has to sleep with a girl of their choosing and photo it. IT"S HER!!!!!!! Big shock there. Does he do it? I won't spill the beans. I kind of love the alpha buzz dude (whoever it is). I'm very curious. Who is it? Oh well, you gotta read to find out! Looking forward to the next book!
i enjoyed the story and the performance was good. i liked all the characters and thought the story flowed well. it left me entertained and wanting to read on.
"Rimmel and Romeo are #awesome"
When Romeo finds her walking on the street and they have their first kiss.
Their voices embody what I imagined Rimmel and Romeo would sounds like. I felt like they were telling a story as opposed to just reading a book.
this is one of my favorite books of all time. Romeo and Rimmel are how life should be.
"Great audio book!"
Loved the books and the narration of it just brings it more to life. The narrator's did a great job. I highly recommend it!
"First ever audiobook! Love!"
#Nerd has been my first experience of listening to an audiobook. It won't be my last. I already have my next lined up. I listened to this at night with my eyes shut and I could visualise this story more than any when I've read the words. I also own the ebook so I could highlight my favourite parts. The narrators were fantastic and brought this story to life. I loved this book.
"Just as awesome on audio as it was to read"
Cute, refreshing, hawt!
I loved both Rimmel and Romeo! Rimmel stays true to herself and Romeo is so possessive! I love that in my books.
A bad narrator can ruin a good book but thankfully these narrators were perfect! The females voice sounds perfect for Rimmels age.
I love this series. I'M so excited it's on audio. I can't wait for book 2!
"Fun, light hearted story with terrible narrator ion"
The story is fun and light hearted. I appreciate that neither Romeo nor Rimmel are as two-dimensional as they seem. They are written as the confused, maturing, college students that they are. The nerd and jock stereotypes are rampant, but not as in your face as they are in similarly themed novels.
I love the Alpha BuzzFeed quips that begin every chapter! It's an excellent touch that really highlights the absurdity of small college campus life.
My main issue was with the narration. It was terrible. The female narrator was so expressionless that sometimes I though Siri was reading to me. She also sounded way too old—more matronly than collegiate. The male narrator was better, but his voice was a bit too old to sound like that of a college student.
I've decided that I will be reading the sequel #hater as a normal book as opposed to listening to it on tape. I want to know what happens next in the story, but without the interruption of the narrators.
