Good book!
I’ve watched the film and now read the book. Great detail. The narrator is also easy to listen to. Really enjoyed it. Now to listen to book 2!

Great fun - loved it!
If you could sum up Divergent in three words, what would they be?
Exciting, well-paced, well-written.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Divergent?
When Tris discovers who Four really is. Can't say more as it would spoil the book for those who haven't read it.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
I enjoyed all of it from beginning to end, however, the scenes in the 'fear landscape' were intriguing.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I enjoyed the pace of the book. It was exciting, with some funny moments. I always wanted to know what would happen next and was disappointed when it ended.
Any additional comments?
This is a book aimed at the Young Adult market but as a middle-aged mother I can also say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and think it works on different levels. The author understood the mind and character of teenage Tris. She was very skilfully executed. I am looking forward to the sequel.

Richtig spannend und sehr schön gelsesn
Das Hörbuch war wirklich super. Die Bücher sind sehr nah dran an der Verfilmung. Kann ich nur empfehlen, habe Stunden zugehört und konnte garnicht mehr aufhören

Easy reading
I purchased this book as I had seen the film, and it did not disappoint.
The screenplay remained true to the book. It was easy to read but descriptive and engrossing. Listed as a book for teenagers, I found it enjoyable in the lack of adult themes. With an open mind, give it a try.
