The attractions of Thailand are endless - ancient monasteries, ruined cities, Buddhist monks, rave parties, colorful hill tribes, exotic wildlife, floating markets, dense rainforests, tropical islands, pristine coral reefs, and golden beaches. Then there's Bangkok, the liveliest capital city in Southeast Asia, which would justify a trip to Thailand in itself.
Don't rush to try and fit everything in. You'll almost certainly start your adventures in Bangkok and we suggest that you don't hurry around. Alternatively, allow a couple of days to soak up the capital's lively atmosphere, including at least one night on the notorious Khao San Road, before going north to Thailand's second city Chiang Mai or south to the islands. To do both, you'll need at least a fortnight; if you've got a few weeks to spare, add the infamous Bridge Over the River Kwai and Kanchanaburi to your list.
In this Thailand Travel Guide, you will also be discovering the notorious cities and provinces that are Pattaya and Phuket. They are world-renowned and popular for their nightlife and scenery. Pattaya is always a lively and a fun city to be in. This vibrant coastal city shot to fame in the early 1980s and remained so. From dawn to dusk, Pattaya's beaches are always brimming with life, as sun worshippers and water sports lovers constantly take to the waters. After dark, the action shifts to the streets, as partygoers explore its lively nightlife scene, where partying and drinking continue until early hours.
With stunning tropical sunsets and spectacular scenery, a warm blue sea awaits you at Asia's most popular beach destination. Phuket provides an unbeatable combination of silky, clean white sand and palm tree-lined beaches with great value accommodation and superb hospitality.

"Not exactly a travel guide"
I thought that to call it a travel guide is a bit misleading. Half way through, the author starts talking about living in Thailand for purpose of martial arts training and any logistics connected to it. This is completely irrelevant if just want to visit Thailand as a tourist. It's perhaps written for a younger audience(dudes) considering unsophisticated language used.
GREAT resource for breaking down what to do, how to do it, where to stay, planning itineraries, how to get around, what to be careful of, EVERYTHING. I found its information well organized, helpful. This book is a one-stop resource to use while planning and while on the road. If you're going to Thailand, you need this.
"This is a must have book"
This is a must have book for people who are visiting Thailand for the first time. In this book you will learn everything you need to know about Thailand as a first time tourist. Elizabeth did a magnificent job on creating a very well detailed travel guidebook like this and I commend her for that. It is indeed a good listen and I highly recommend it to all the people who are looking for a very good travel guidebook for Thailand.
"This isn't a complete travel guide"
This isn't a complete travel guide since it doesn't have anything about transportation and all that. It is more of a very long blog post in friendly book form highlighting 25 awesome things to do and they all definitely sound awesome. But those blogs often add pictures especially if they are a list-type. This falls under the list type and I expected something similar or better. But I am going to Thailand next month and this is still better than stressing myself out looking for different webpages online!
"One of the places in Southeast Asia that I want"
One of the places in Southeast Asia that I want to visit is Thailand. This book gives me a lot of ideas of where to go and what to do. It describes each tourist attraction so vividly that you can somehow picture out what you are to see when you get there. It also tells you what to do and what not to do. This book is indeed a great help for everyone who wish to travel in Thailand.
"This guidebook is very helpful and well written."
This guidebook is very helpful and well written. My cousin lives in Thailand with her husband. Last month she offered me to travel there. But a few weeks ago I got a chance to Thailand and I decided I will go. For that reason I purchased this book and this book is really awesome.
