Summary
Like millions of other sports-mad gamblers around the world, Dave Farrar loved taking on the bookies. But when the girl that he loved walked out on him without explaining why, it all went wrong and he embarked on an ill-disciplined six-month losing streak that made him decide that he was done with punting forever. As he started to get over the fact that the girl wasn't coming back, he resolved not to give up without a fight. One man's story, not a guide.
A decent story of a man locked into Sports Betting. He struggles, adapts and slightly overcomes. Some interesting insightful moments but too often a narrative of normalcy. Can't help thinking that despite the story/project being a cathartic moment for Dave, he never is, can be or will be anything like a 'Perfect Punter'. Worth a listen if your into Sports Betting though.

mild gambling and self indulgent memoir
this guy knows no more than you or I. most gamblers could put a book like this together with better stories. hard to empathise with the narrator also, you almost want him to lose. its basically a self indulgent memoir about getting dumped and going on a mild gambling spree. fair play to him though for managing to get it on here and published.
