When Michael Jordan left the Chicago Bulls to play baseball in 1993, the team was in crisis. personally experienced a lot of meditation and theory before, so almost stopped reading but after initial introduction (which was good just not new for me) got very good. really enjoyed and v useful.
This book has become part of my "read every year" list. Great advices, and lots of wisdom.
The best ever narrative and audio! It gets deep into the nature of mindfulness aplied to sport without much blablabla!

Easy language, ended within 10 days.
But dont expect many practices. Only one simple breathing practice. If you enjoy, try nei kung routines.
Audiobook was great and I bookmarked so many places I will be buying the hard copy. I am a business owner, personal trainer and life coach. I will be recommending this to mu clients. Mindfulness is something I understand logically and have learned about a lot, but struggle with. I am a work hard and grind type of person. I think this has helped me be successful initially on life but for several years I think it has been time to get to the next level in a different way....by balancing this over striving work ethic with a focus on finding flow instead of just working harder. This athletic context and the way he describes this state of flow is helping me taste the feeling I am after. I think this will help me as a entrepreneur, athlete and coach...not to mention helping me be a better, more present friend and family member.
I have listened to several books on sports mental performance and have liked this the best. the author makes the subject digestible and informative.

you don't need this book. After reading the raving reviews, I was pretty excited and thought finally something that will take me to the next level. Unfortunately, the main message of the whole book can be summarised as "Being mindful I
is needed to achieve greatness in sports. So watch your breath and be present!"... Thousands of videos on YouTube that will tell you more and guide you better to practices that you can follow. Don't waste your money/time with this!
