Summary
'I saw men under pressure. I saw men succeed and more men fail. I always wondered where the difference lay.'
In an inspirational, funny and thought-provoking new book, The Secret Footballer teams up with The Secret Psychologist to crack the secrets of success and share with us the tricks and tips that keep the top players at the top of their game. Exploring the winning mindset from confidence to concentration, exposing the successes, the failures and the frauds, this book will shock and entertain. And while most of us will never dribble like Messi or strike like Suarez, we can learn to think like them.
What separates the good from the truly great players? How do football managers get the best out of their team? How do you come back from a crushing defeat to win?
How To Win is the thinking fan’s handbook for those who want to win. At football or at life.

Interesting insights
Interested in football, and the psychology behind it, then this is worth a listen. One warning, don't give it to your kids, the language is at times obscene which spoilt the book for me hence not giving it 5 stars

GCSE Psychology
A long way off the normal fun of these books. Seems like the author picked up a Psychology For Dummies book and tried to show off. A very dull listen.

What an incredibly insightful piece of brilliance.
the honest approach to this book is the reason why so many people will be able to benefit from it!!
To be able to dissect the intricacies of human psyche the way TSF & Psychologist have in this book will hopefully give breed to a whole new level of talent, not only in the realms of football, but, in all walks of life.
Thank you for your help.
Depression is no joke. so, the addition of coping mechanisms is also great! Thank you!
