I realised that I had listened to far too many end of the world American scenarios, this had little to commend it, more like a last night show on the sci-fi channel
I am a care assistant supporting people in their homes within the community. I have recently begun making my own flowers out of paper.
kept me interested right from the word go. Did think at times the 'readers' could have put more variety and interest into their voices for the different characters . occasionally a little bland. Other than that, a good listen
"I'm Still Listening"
This apocolyptic/sci-fi series is original enough that it has kept my attention and maintained my interest enough that I will be going on to episode 3. Characters are beginning to develop at a better pace. There is mystery, and some suspense.
Narration is very good with one exception. We have a Scott Brick "talk-alike" in this series. Scott Brick can make me feel like I'm riding the crazy train if I hear too much of him. Both the character and the Brickish narration of this character are a little over-the-top. Fortunately, their performance time is limited so far.
And I'm still listening.
"The Stand meets Twilight Zone"
intense, intriguing, addictive
not the character since he's a creep, but the reader of the serial killer is a highlight of the series so far. I really enjoy his sections!
I want each section to be longer, its a bummer when an episode is over and I don't have the next one handy.
looking forward to the next episodes of season 1. I could see this being a tv series. i'll probably get the rest of season one then decide if I want to continue on. if it gets too far fetched with creatures then I probably wont, I like the eerie and suspense parts and the great characters but not a lot of actual monster stuff, that's gets a little over the top and cliché to me.
"Really like the story,"
Really like the story, and 'most' of the voices, wish ALL the girls/women voices were done by women would make it so much more real. ya know??
"I love this! fantastically compelling!"
yep, hooked with a free episode, now I'm committed *lol* great imagery, and a smooth storyline, even switching between characters.
"I should have just bought the full story."
I am really enjoying this and will keep getting the episode as each one leaves you wanting more.
"I am so hooked"
I can't wait to see what happens next. This is a very captivating story I am binge listening. Fantastic narration, fantastic story.
"human eating aliens"
Don't like the way it's narrated. Woman narrating man, man narrating woman, andvman who narrates kid and man...uses same tone
cant even finish it
I enjoyed my free copy of Episode 1....so I bought Episode 2, very disappointed ....
the narrator for Lucka.....reads it too much like a child....or I don't know what.
I am addicted....just when the story gets the most interesting....it's over and I am sad....
"Heading to the next episode "
I have finished two episodes now and can't believe how much I'm hooked. I was a bit confused at first but episode by episode the story is really coming together! One of the male narrator's female impression is seriously a joke haha but I still like it, it being narrated by several different people really helps it stay "organized".
