Flirting with boys and hanging out with her best friend pretty much sums up Esmerelda's life, but it's all about to change.
At 18, the toughest decision she should have to make is whether or not to go to college, not helping her dad pick out a casket for her mother. But, it's not until wounds heal instantly and flowers bloom in front of her eyes that she begins to question her sanity.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing, could prepare her for being kidnapped and flown out of the country, only to find out her kidnapper is a warlock.
Sanity? At this point, she is sure either hers or his is gone. Magic isn't real, it's in stories and fairy tales parents tell little kids. Or is it? But there's more, much more. Her blood is the secret gift bestowed by five dead witches, and there is one warlock who'll stop at nothing to get it.
To end the curse to his power and save herself, she must awaken the witches from their graves. Shouldn't be hard, right?
With life as Esmerelda knew it officially over, it isn't until she meets Ian that she starts to feel normal again. He's all the eye candy plus a Guardian wrapped up in one hot package. But, the feelings she has for him aren't welcome because they make her forget the danger she's in. And forgetting could mean her death.
Wolf Spell is a young adult paranormal romance with mild violence.

"Loved This Paranormal"
Yes because of the story.
I loved Ian. He was mysterious.
When Es and Ian was left alone on their trip.
Loved this unique paranormal story. It keeps you glued from the beginning until the end. The twist that happen in this story keeps you guessing what with happen next. The love triangle that happens makes you love both brothers and they both protect Es. I can't wait to see what happens next.
It was a little slow at times but for the most part it was great. I loved the story and love Esmerelda.
I am the type to finish what I start... In other words if I start a book I finish it. The same held true for this book. It starts out so dreadfully slow, interest could not be held, but I continued hoping that the story would improve. Unfortunately it didn't happen. It just went on & on & on... no high points, no thrills urging you on to the next page. Very disappointed in the storyline, the characters, the reading... I was really looking forward to it but not everything can impress everyone.
Something from Richelle Mead. I love her young adult series!
Dry, forced, suppressed
No not at all. I could barely get through the book. Wouldn't waste my time watching the movie.
"Not really catchy"
This sounded great but was quite lacking. Some editing issues where characters names are mixed up and who can take an eighteen year old seriously that drinks nothing but hot cocoa? The love stories were lacking and characters were forgotten. I can see a young teen maybe enjoying this.
