I do like this series of books and I was going to go straight onto book 5. uh oh! There isn't a book 5 available yet on Audible.
The whole series is defiantly worth buying, it gets better and better.
Loved this next chapter in the series, can't wait for book 5 to come out! Every book just keeps getting better and Luke Daniels as always is phenomenal.
So this is one of those authors that I don't like and yet I love him. So it is not anything wrong with the writing and Luke is a great narrator. Reason I don't like him is I get so into the characters and he hurts them. Not as much in this book but in book I definitely took some breaks not quite ready for what might happen.
"Unique and keeps you thinking"
Adept handling of many new age ideas and questions, in a story that is actually completely neutral to any belief. It is easily fantasy, but offers a place to stretch one's thoughts about many things that people wonder about. It's all put in a series of computer simulations asking a number of real questions, first can experience in a game advance our real life skills, and a sort of spiritual question being, if we can find magic in virtual reality, can we bring it to our real life. It does this without losing the reality of life always balancing an inherent need for both good and bad outcomes, never knowing for sure what an outcome will be, or what might be really going on beyond what we can fathom from our perspective. There's an opportunity here to be entertained and step outside one's decided reality, and question the big picture.
"A good story with great naration."
The naration is great, and I wouldn't have heard about this series without Luke Daniels.
awesome story line Terry Scott I'm hooked. Luke Daniels is an amazing narrator. thank you audible
"You cant leave me like this!"
This author continues to surprise me. the storyline keeps you entertained and completely draws you in chapter by chapter. So much so that you never see the ending coming!
Great narrative helps this book have such a strong presence. I'm sure the voices would still be the same if I were to read it myself
"Amazing as always! Every book in the Game Is Life."
Amazing as always! Every book in the Game Is Life series catches you and holds you till the end.
"Felt like a churn interlude"
It didn't help that the nesting of worlds in the story became convoluted, even with the excellent performance of Luke Daniels, but having two of the worlds with the same name just added to the difficulty in understanding which characters were who inter-worlds and also intra-worlds. Also, there was often repetitions of descriptions of phenomenons which came off more like word stuffing than actually needed. Finally, while the writing was still very good, this novel's story was not very interesting, even though it did move the series story along.
more I want more I have finished every book in the series thus far and this one was no less fantastic than the others I highly recommend this series and hopes the publisher gets the other books out as soon as possible
