Publisher's Summary

Beth, forever fanning the flames of tension and dissension, has the Stryvers, the Progerians, and the entire human race on the brink of annihilation. It is up to Michael Talbot, BT, Drababan, and the United Earth Marine Corps to stave off this extinction event, along with General Ginson aboard the outgunned, outmanned, and nearly crippled USS Guardian. Is it too late, or can it all still be saved?

    "Another stonker of a story!"

I love Mark Tufo's Zombie Fallout series but there are times when this Indian Hill series is my favourite. This is one of those times.

This latest story is full of everything you'd expect from Tufo; great characters, humour, excitement and pain. The progression of the war and the characters within it continues to thrill and feels so natural despite the subject matter. Enemies and alliances, friends and foes all battle through this book with Michael Talbot always the link between them. There are new characters to fall in love with, to fear, and to be wary of. And the play between BT and D is priceless. I found tears in my eyes more than once listening to this book. From both laughter and sadness.

Brilliant writing. Brilliant character development. (I know a character is written well when I feel the need to punch them myself for their behaviour!)

The second epilogue is a real treasure. Painfully bitter sweet. A story I'm both glad and sad to know.

As ever, Sean Runnette breathes life into Tufo's already lively words. His delivery is rich and his comic timing perfect. The voice of Mike Talbot will only ever be Sean Runnette for me.

Bt meets D!!! Oh yes any Talbot fans and of the characters within will love this book.

"There are great writers then there is Mark Tufo"
    Any additional comments?

A brilliantly written book again as normal, shame only 1 more to come in the series. I have written many reviews about all Mark Tufo books but after listening to many great books recently I was nervous it would be as good as normal but it was better. Why? it is like comming home it is a great story but with a humor that brings you into the book to be part of it. I think that is Marks skill, other books are very very good and the story is brilliant. But a Mark Tufo book it very very good but it has another dimension, it engulfs you and draws you in you become part of the story, you laugh and cry with the story. For me it is the humour that draws me in from listening to being part of the book. Gutted only 1 more in series to come but always following the group in other books also. 100% recommend this and other Tufo books

    "A fantastic series"

I love this series and while Michael Talbot was my favourite Drabanan is my new favourite.
Caught between the Stryvers and the Progerians with Beth (Michael's ex) trying to kill everyone this is one wild ride and I can't wait for the next one.

    "Turning up the heat"

Indian hill has been a back burner for me but then 5 and 6 came along,
While being attacked on 2 side's and then adding a bunny boiler into the mix mike truly has his work cut out for him!
The 2 bonus chapter's that give an insite into D's world is for lack of a better word moving, hats off to Sean for doing the voices for 2 full chapters.
As I mentioned to Mark Tufo the only downside to the book is that the xbox managed to stay in this time line!! PS all the way!!
With the fast pace of this book its hard not to listen to it a second maybe 3 time
    Enjoy

I enjoyed this from start to finish and I can't for IH7, the pissing contest between BT and D was funny and we see another side to Beth. As usual Sean did a great job bringing all the characters to life.

"A great story with laughs, action, and feel"

The amazing thing about this ongoing story about Indian Hill, is it ability to expand into new areas of action. Space. Ground. Dialog. Epic battles and it never gets old. Filled with actions that mirror absolute friendship, loyalty and the importance of survival. Mike still hovers with reality and not taking things too seriously. Deep down, he fully grasps the reality of everything happening but he protects himself with a armor of laughs. Often confusing or frustrating his friends and allies but giving all of us a good time.

And yet somehow in the midst of all this patent ridiculosity. It manages to be serious. An edge to whats really a state. Confusing the listener as to not be able to tell what will happen next. Pressure based, because you never know just who might perish from the next battle.

And at over five books at the time of this writing, it's hard to deny that this new chapter is epic. It will make you laugh like a kid at the circus. It will make tears spring to your eyes with laughter. It will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more while still leaving you with a sense of gleeful satisfaction after nearly every chapter.

Indian hill introduced me to Michael Talbot. If you haven't heard of him in any of his parallel universe based stories, for the sake of all that is right, please do.

I highly recommend this tale. :)

    "Amazing as always!"

I absolutely loved this book! I'm always excited for Mark's book, he has a way of bringing his characters to life, without drawing things out too much. If you love this series try out the zombie fallout one. I've always been impressed with his writing style, I've never read an author that was able to have you biting your nails one minute then have you laughing about aliens, zombies and werewolves the next.

"Mark Tufo has done it AGAIN!"

You can't get any better than a book by Mark Tufo. How he manages to make each book better than the last is pure genius. His stories, narrated by Sean Runnette, takes you to worlds that feel as real as the one we are in. Sean makes the characters come alive and you do not feel you are listening to a story but actually living it. Mark takes you on a fabulous ride. You will want to listen to his books over and over again. Each time the journey gets better.
