Evelyn Carter, a young, struggling video news stringer, is recruited to join an elite government-run time travel agency. She and her team travel through time with the public goal of collecting artifacts lost to time and capturing historical events on video for the world to see. Along the way, she learns of a secret in history so terrifying that it must be kept hidden from the public at all costs. Lost history, top secret agendas, and a frightening future are just the beginning. Something massive is about to happen and it is up to the team to find a way to stop it. Buried deep in the past, the puzzle pieces start to fit together. For the team to stop the unstoppable, they must journey farther through time and space than anyone thought possible.

Well-written and a great storyline. This book kept my interest throughout, and was a good science fiction novel that I would recommend to any fan of this genre
"Very interesting time travel storyline!"
I enjoyed this story very much. There was a lot of 'technical jargon' that is well explained without losing the lay person (me!). The story line of the time travel and how it came to be, the way they are able to shift through time and the explanation of how they were able to collect data without changing time was good. I was disappointed in the 'big bang' theory and how that was explained into existence, as well as, the 'ability' for them to go back billions of years was a bit far fetched, (especially since this was set in 2018) but, I kept reminding myself that this is a work of one man's imagination and fiction. I did enjoy the development of the characters, but feel that it didn't complete the development. (Never did explain why Sue was sick, but just left questions!) If there was a 2nd story written, I would give it a go! I listened to the audio version of this story and the narrator, Kevin Clay does a good job with the characters, and his ability to keep the voices separate and understandable. The only constructive criticism I would give is that he work on his narration in between the characters. Sounds too much like a documentary and I found myself a bit bored with the 'information' being given and rewound a few times. All in all, I enjoyed the story and the overall performance.
"A fun roller coaster ride through time and space"
If I were to start by saying that this is some really cheesy Sci-Fi, it would sound like an insult. It's anything but, though, as I really liked the camp and fun that this story contains, especially since it is coupled with a well thought out and consistent world that contains some great hard science. The characters are really well developed, becoming more and more real throughout the story. The plot and characterization of the main character begin from page one, and don't stop until the final sentence. This was a really fun story.
Mr. Clay's read was great. I'm a stickler for pacing and pronunciation, and his is spot on. His slight variations of tone or timbre also made it really easy to pay attention to which character was speaking, which made their conversations easier to get into, and allowed for the entire world Mr. Werdon had created to come alive.
This is a great, fun story with a great read.
This is one of those books that has you entertained from the very beginning. The author has a great sense of humor. I finished this book in 3 days, which surprised me bc I have trouble finding books I enjoy. It's got some nice plot twists. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who enjoys a good SIFI story.
"Amazing time travel story"
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
One of the better time travel stories I've listened to. I really enjoyed the character development and shock and awe. I really connected with the characters and wasn't confused with the paradox of time travel.
"Futuristic Time traveler"
I liked the future inventions. Some seem real.
I liked the future inventions to come. Some seemed real. And how the charactors liked certain meals.
Carter seemed real feeling her way thru what she did not know.
When Carter tells of the interplanetarian secres.

"I loved this book - super freaky time travel"
This book was very entertaining. Set in the future in a world that is very different than it is now. I love that the main plot is trying to save the world. If you love time travel books you should definately read this book. I hope there will be a follow up or maybe a series! I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review. But I really loved it even if I did get for free! thank you Robert Werden.
"Men in Black without all the killing and aliens"
This was a great story that kept me engaged all the way to the end. The story was very believable and well written. Just enough character development to let you know whose side you are on. The plot line keeps you guessing as well as interested in what’s happening now. The narrator fit well with the story and had everything needed to bring the story to life. Would be happy to read more.

"Not your standard go back in time novel"
“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”
This is a fast paced, action packed science fiction novel with well developed characters facing a variety of challenges. It's science fiction without a heavy load of science, it's the kind of story you can enjoy just for the pleasure of listening. Narration is well done and captures the moods/emotions of the characters.
"Pass the Sunscreen... possibly SPF 10,000"
Wow, this one would actually get a 4 1/2 stars if I could give half stars. This was such a cool listen. There were so many little nuences that make this book something special. I do have to admit with the main character of the story being female and the narrator being cast a male made me wonder how things would turn out, however I was pleasantly surprised with the performance. As a listener I just loved the main character's spunkiness and randomness that it had me laughing and yelling at her throughout the entire book. The premise of this story was absolutely awesome, I am already a fan of time travel books but I really could not put this one down. It is unfortunate that I cannot go into too much detail as I don't want to give things away but I think I could write a million word review about this one. The relationship between our main characters was really well written and definitely gave the story a little something extra. All the secrets, conspiracies or truths whichever you would like to call them were really well written and weaved together in this story and it was refreshing. I typically follow some of these and really became a fan of this book when they were introduced. The author also has a great taste in music too as there are several songs on a playlist that are mentioned in the story. There is a lot to like about this story especially the narration. The narrator does a great job using pauses and different accents with all the characters throughout the entire story. It was a great performance. Definitely pick this one up. Also, you better keep a lookout for the Black Knight because he is always in the sky keeping an eye on you. I was gifted a free copy of this title in exchange for an honest review via Audiobook Boom.
