Great Book but hard to follow

Would you consider the audio edition of The Twelve to be better than the print version?

Yes definately, I wouldnt have been able to follow it by reading

What other book might you compare The Twelve to, and why?

Its a bit patricia cornwell in places but pretty unique apart from that

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Too many to mention

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

THe part where the couple stay and have their babay, it was a good to have somenthing nice however you were always waiting for the bad to happen nad also the part in the orphange when that child had lost its parents.

Any additional comments?

a long lon gbook with some great parts in it. Hard to follow in place though but cant wait for the next installment

great follow up to the first book

I had been itching to find out what happens next as book one, The Passage, leaves us with such a cliff hanger. The Twelve doesnt let us down as the threads of this epic and apocolytic tale are woven together so we can start to understand what has happened, and the parts that all are playing.

There is no doubt that book three will be just as powerfull, I cant wait.

By the way the narration of both of these by Scott Brick is simply first class. A joy to listen to.

The twelve

Good book - good story, good narration. But very long and slow pacing, worth it if you can hang in.

A gripping read - Cronin continues to impress

Scott Brick, having won me over in his reading of Justin Cronin's 'The Passage', continues to provide the perfect reading voice for 'The Twelve', with his gravelly, engaging tones. The novel was a wonderful read - it impressed me in its development of characters and the post-apocalyptic world created, with some truly haunting moments. It kept me consistently gripped - a hard feat over 21 hours. I can't wait for the final novel in the trilogy now.

Really great book but need to listen to The Passage first

A really great continuation from the first book excellently narrated but not for the young 😱if you don’t have knowledge of the first book it will lose you and you won’t feel the emotional impact of it.

Not as good as the first

Was a bit confusing. Didn't flow very well. Not as good as the first but still exciting. Hopefully the final book won't try and run four characters storyline and the same time.
