This collection presents some outstanding examples of his shorter works and includes "Colony," "Upon the Dull Earth," "The Short Happy Life of the Brown Oxford," "Faith of Our Fathers," "The Days of Perky Pat," "The Variable Man," and "I Hope I Shall Arrive Soon." Investigating spiritual questions through science-fiction imagery, these stories explore the boundaries of human consciousness as they present such themes as multiple realities, creating life, and man's relationship to God.

"Philip K. Dick's best books always describe a future that is entirely recognizable and utterly unimaginable." (New York Times Book Review)
Wonderful mind of Mr Dick has defined a generation of cinematic thoughtful sci fi films, especially for Arnold S of Austria. American accents like the author, very well done for an audiobook. Would recommend if you love his works.
"More Excellent Philip K. Dick"
While I preferred the first volume of selected stories, this volume still has some really awesome stories... I particularly really liked the first tale of this collection... These are much deeper stories and less "light" than the first book. Definitely worth the credit/money
"This didn't do it for me"
I should know better, I'm not a big fan of short stories. I kept wanting to yell at the characters for doing stupid things. They did them anyway and I didn't really care. I was happy when it ended. I feel like I'm supposed to have liked these, but I didn't. Sorry.
