Summary
Born prematurely, Christoff wasn't as big or as strong as his older brother or the other younglings in the village. Unable to fit in, he does the best he can, helping his father and mother on their farm. His life changes when the mountain near their farm awakens. Believing he is the only one who can quiet it, he retreats to the mountain to watch over the village that shunned him.

a good listen
it would be nice if the play back was swapped so you had the kids first then the old dragon. it would make more sense.

Brilliant
Another truly wonderful, sexy and funny story about an older couple. The depth of the characters and the way these characters are brought to life from S E Smiths' other books is brilliant... I loved it

OK I cried ... lol what a beautiful story
Would you listen to The Old Dragon of the Mountain's Christmas again? Why?
Yes definitely and already have. It's a beautiful storyline about overcoming adversity, friendship and love.
What did you like best about this story?
When they met the dragon and offered him their friendship - if only we could live in world like this.
Which character – as performed by David Brenin – was your favourite?
No no no no you can't pick a favourite character I love all the little dragonlings you can't actually pick a favourite. I LOVE THEM ALL.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book definitely made me cry, it was such a sweet storyline. Absolutely beautiful and so inspiring with how determined they are and such a sweet offer of friendship.

This would be a purchase I would highly recommend. In fact all S.E.Smiths stories are wonderful and I have not hesitation in recommending any of them.
