Excellent

I approached this volume with a certain amount of apprehension as I didn't think anyone could bring it to life in the way that Frank Muller had the previous 4. Although it took some getting used to a new voice and style, I didn't need to worry, George Guildhall proved a worthy successor. Truly excellent.

the dark tower series gets better and better

I've never been a diehard King fan. Yes I've enjoyed the odd story, yes I loved IT, but who doesn't.? my only exposure to King had been the screen adaptations. I think it was my girlfriend who suggested this series on a recommendation she recalled. so I gave book one a try. I nearly gave up on it but by the end I was hungry for the next instalment

so here I am at this book. what did I not. like about. well I wasn't sure about how he named check another author. and himself. to me it seems pointless. or is it? maybe I'll find out differently. what I loved was every thing else. this book was 27 hours but it didn't feel that way. now I want more. tomorrow is my pay day. 4 days later is my new credit day. I'm not waiting and I'm just buying the next book. if your mulling around and looking for an inspiration for a purchase you won't go wrong with this. God I hope the film is as good.

Just gets better

Every book gets better and very sad with the change of narrator in such tragic circumstances.

Dark tower

If you want to escape this world and dive into the realm of fantasy this and the other dark tower novels by King are the best way to do so, thank you Mr King for finishing this truly awesome adventure.

Not the same without Frank

The performance just isn’t the same without Frank Muller narrating. Such a shame a magnificent narrator was so cruelly taken from us. The story itself is so typical Stephen King as to bring a smile to our faces. I love it.

Best in the series

I simply love this one. Each time I listen to it, I feel the time skipping and accelerating towards something... towards another true gunslingers' adventure, towards another spiral of time, story and action, towards the Tower :)

Adult fairy tale

I really loved this book. Kept me company for a very long time in the car, on my walks, doing chores. Lovely voice too.
