Looking for evil is one thing... finding it is another.
When Patricia White revisits her backwoods home, an atrocious secret from her past isn't the only thing that begins to haunt her. Creepy, erotic, and relentless, The Backwoods delivers up a new kind of horror in a foreboding terrain of reclusive hillfolk, demented murder mysteries, and soul-searing horror. Has the town Patricia calls home really been cursed? No, it's been blessed. By an unspeakable evil older than sin.

This was a very disappointing read. The characters were hollow, with the main character being worst of all. All female characters are described by their chest size, and there seems to be little point in anything that anyone does. The narrator did the best he could, but probably would have founded better with a woman. The dialogue was dreadful at times. Please avoid this one.
"Worst audiobook to date that I have listened to."
Not sure, may be saved if read by a woman with better skills at narrating a book.
I have not listened to other books in this Genre as of yet.
His voice just drones on. It would have been better performed by a Woman.
The story could have been more complex. I just kept waiting for the story to get better and it never happaned. I'm OK with graphic violance and sex if it serves a purpose in the story and not just for including it, just didn't make sense in the context of the story.
"not entertaining just depressing"
I made a mistake when I decided to give Edward Lee a second chance. I find his descriptions of sex over the top and perverted
