"Skee Has a Lot to Learn"
Skeeve is a sweet bumbling leader who has no idea how important he is. It is fun following the misadventures of Skeeve and his entourage.
"Skip this one"
I've enjoyed every book in the series so far and would give a glowing review to all the others, but this one was disappointing. I don't mind the author's occasional indulgences for sharing his personal beliefs on political issues in any of the books but this book is ONLY that! If you want magical adventures full of jokes, excitement, and fun pick up any previous Myth book and you'll be very pleased. If you want a book full of essays on alchoholism, modeling, marriage, and tax reform then this book qualifies but there are probably better options.
"Still great, but not as good as some of the others"
This book really is another great book in the myth series. It just didn't seem to have the fast pace action of the other books. This book feels a bit more like a teenager finding their way book, rather than the usual quirky action books of the past. It still has the "how is he going to get out of this one" overall tone, but it just feels a bit flat compared to the other myth books. I'll definitely keep reading the series though.
