Not so lucky anymore....
Civilization is on the brink of crumbling - and this time not just due to the zombie apocalypse. The roads have become dangerous, and what havens have been established are no longer safe. Murmurs of unrest - or maybe even a brewing civil war - are getting loud. No longer are zombies the only thing preying on those that think to brave the world outside the settlements.
Yet as grave as things are getting, this is not the main issue that is plaguing Nate's mind. He has bigger fish to fry.

"Why the Shock Value Escalation?"
Why do authors feel that each novel needs successively greater shock value? Rape scenes and torture replaced good writing in this one. Boo.
"I'd give series a 4.3 out of 5"
I would and will listen to the whole series again more than twice, because like with a good movie or book you pick up on things you miss the first time around, I also enjoyed the books so much
I can't really say because I don't like messing up anyone's enjoyment of the book
I have to say I loved all the characters she did
It made me laugh out loud, say please shut up, even get annoyed more than once.
I just couldn't stop listening to the book now I'm done with book 5 sighs I have to find another series to read until I can sink into book 6. A little romance, a little horror a lot of action to make it all woth while. I enjoyed reading the book very much, I know I will listen again to the books in the future. I hope who ever reads this series will enjoy it half as much as I did!
"I will defend my favorite author's!"
Very Good Series
Nate, Because you fall in love with him.
Strong female lead role
Others have commented about rape but if this was to really happen don't you think that its fair to say that would happen? Guess maybe the people commenting are men? Thought so! Guessing again they've never been raped? Ya maybe they are the wrong people to comment because even in the very best situations someone is raped every minute and that's not in a Zombie Apocalypse. This is a great series she's not afraid to piss anyone off I highly recommend and she's not lazy its great from start to finish. Its a must listen or read.
this is the first review on this series is have written. and I have read a few. people not liking it because of the overwhelming theme of rape in this one but I think that the writer did very good and this had to take place for the way the book is taken. she didn't not go into describing the rape to much. I think that this was a well done book and can't wait until #6 comes out
"What happened to this series?"
Loved the other books in the series as they had such original content. The author got lazy with this one. If you like rape and capture (too prevalent in most zombie books) then this unoriginal book is for you. I am not sure why so many authors think there are so many rapists in the world but it is extremely offensive to assume men and particularly soldiers are so ready to commit rape and other atrocities.
