As the first female alpha in living memory, Terra Wilder already has her hands full bringing old-fashioned uncles and cousins into line. But with a regional gathering of ten clans on the horizon, the shifter will soon be faced with an even more arduous task: holding her own against a lineup of power-hungry pack leaders.
Justin Young is the strongest of the opposing alphas, and he also happens to be the handsome but disturbing older brother of Terra's own mate. Justin is far too powerful to vanquish in a pitched battle, so Terra instead opts to trick the alpha into supporting her cause by pretending to be a pack princess on the prowl for a husband.
Flirting with a shifter who looks like a dark reflection of her true mate is no fun. But if Terra doesn't maintain her clan's independence, her male relatives risk being tossed out into the cold while her female cousins are turned into chattel. On the other hand, if Terra succeeds, she might just lose herself - and her mate - in the process.

"A Bit of Everything!"
I loved that it didn't follow the shifter romance formula that you see in so many books.
The twist at the end!
I love how this series continues to grow. It is more urban fantasy then a HEA type book. The author did a great job of not treading the same ground as previous books. The one thing that really stands out is Ms. Easterling allows her characters to fail. Her main characters are true underdogs (pun intended) with plenty of room for growth. So many books are ruined by the narrator but not this one. She really does a great job in bringing the story to life without taking away from how you picture the characters in your mind. Worth a credit? In my opinion yes!
"I really enjoyed this story"
Yes I would it's a great story
Wolfie...I fell in love with him in the first book
The character voices she does are really good brings the story more to life compared to sitting an reading the book
Yes it was I was able to put on wireless headphones an go about cooking cleaning vacuuming an laundry an listen to it all at once. Plus the story was so intriguing I had to see how it ended.
This is a really good Shifter story. I love the idea of a Female Pack Leader an Amy did a great job bringing that to life.
The continuing story of Wolf Rampant is a great addition to the telling of the story. Highly recommend it.
"Well rounded story."
I did not expect the story to go the way it did, but it was still really good.
"Fast paced with great characters"
This were wolf story is the second part to a series. The characters have chemistry and the plot is fast paced.
"No gratuitous erotica"
It's fun to watch Tara learn to believe in herself and her capabilities. The story is good whether you've read the preceding ones or not, and the splashes of humor really make the day.
Bought as Whispersync on the cheap. Kelly does a great job of immersing the reader into each character, especially Tara.
"Awesome book Aimee!"
This was a great book. I'm on Alpha Ascendent. Thank you Aimee for writing some great stories. I can hardly wait for Lone Wolf Dawn.
I really enjoyed this book. I still love the characters. I love the set up for the next book, can't wait! I did find myself getting a little lost it what was happening, but that could be my own distractions. I did feel like terra was too wishy washy, she needs to just realize she is tough and stop putting her self down and putting up with her father's crap and the other alpha' s crap. if she would believe in herself the others would also believe in her.
the narration was wonderful as always. I can't wait to get the next book and find out how they are going to put wolfy's brother in his place. things will get interesting! I would recommend this series to ask my friends.
"Terra's story continues ..."
Pack Princess is the latest book in the Wolf Rampan Series. In this book we pick up with Terra as the Alpha of the Wilder pack and her mate Wolfie running on his own.
Terra is trying to find her way as an Alpha and the Pack Regional is just around the corner. If she wants to keep the Wilder pack strong she has to make alliances with other smaller packs. The leader one of the other larger packs, Young Pack, is Justin who also happens to be Wolfie's brother. Can Terra get an alliance together to go up against Justin or will she be left out.
Ms. Easterling continues to impress me with her story telling. She is able to make each of these characters feel real. The shifter genre can be hit or miss. Some stories are just too far out even if you stretch your imagination. With the Wolf Rampant series you have no problem seeing these characters as real people.
Ms. Fumo's narration was, again, spot on for this series. She is able to make each character standout with out over doing it. I will continue to look for Ms. Fumo's work.
"Love the book!"
The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is that in my mind, Terra had MY voice. That's probably a compliment to Aimee, that I identified so easily with Terra. By the end of the recording, I no longer noticed that Kelly Fumo was speaking - it was Terra who was speaking.
Great book, excellent vocalization.
