Summary

When Alex Price agreed to go to Ohio to oversee a basilisk breeding program and assist in the recovery of his psychic cousin, he didn't expect people to start dropping dead. But bodies are cropping up at the zoo where he works, and his girlfriend - Shelby Tanner, an Australian zoologist with a fondness for big cats - is starting to get suspicious.

good fun

I've enjoyed this series so far I recommend them all, just make sure you start with book 1 Discount Armageddon. I guess you could read them individually but they work best in order as you learn more about the world as they progress.

Not the best in the series

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first two in the series, and I found it strange that those chose to still use a female narrator when the story centres around a main character.
