Summary
Mortimer Moorecook, retired Wall Street raider, avid collector, is losing his fight against cancer. With weeks to live, a package arrives at the door of his hillside mansion—an artifact he paid millions for…a hominoid skull with elongated teeth, discovered in a farmer's field in the Romanian countryside. With Shanna, his beautiful research assistant looking on, he sinks the skull's razor sharp fangs into his neck, and immediately goes into convulsions.

Draculas fun time with vampires.
It's like the best of the old hammer horror movies but with more guns and a lot of good funny moments. The vampires are old school evil.

Too much Blood and Guts
Instead of a strong sorry and good deep characters, this book relies on loads and loads of blood and guts. Still, keeps you going till the very end but you are left wanting more information on the characters and story.

Letdown
Dreadful stereotypes and splatter horror not carried by an intriguing enough story to read on for. I picked it up because I’m a Blake Crouch ( and vampire novels) fan but gave up on it because the male/female roles where cringy. What I did appreciate was the way vampires are depicted differently. No sparkly intelligent gentlemen here. Back to the gruesome predator of folklore.

Not vampires but zombies
I bought this because of the involment of f paul wilson. None of his talent for story and humour is present in this thing. Unlikable charaters no stakes to get behind waste of time and money
