Fitting into the Old World isn't going very well for Boulder boundary witch Allison "Lex" Luther: she may have earned a place in a vampire's service, but now it seems as if every supernatural creature in town has found a reason to hate her. And when Lex and her partner are assigned to investigate the suspicious disappearance of two vampires during the night of the full moon, they find themselves with more questions than answers.
Was it murder...or mutiny?
The crusade for answers will lead Lex all over the Colorado Old World, from a prison cell for a broken werewolf to a haunted Denver brothel. And when Lex determines the responsible party, the hunt is just beginning: something has been awakened in Boulder, something as old and powerful as it is terrifying. Only the woman with death in her blood can stop what's coming.

I really enjoyed both these books.
The story was enjoyable all the way through and I can not
wait until the next one to come out.
You can not beat a bit of woman power, a little bit of everything, romance, fighting, friendship. with not too much and over the top. and not to much recapping over last book, which can be frustrating when you have read one and how to keep being told about what happened previously.
Bring on the next one x
"So Much Better!!!"
Overall I really enjoyed this book.
It like the rest of Mrs. Olson's work it is well paced, has great characters, rich world building, and over all is unique is a genre were things tend to bleed together.
The first book was good but it still left me with a "that could have been better" feeling. This one on the other hand I can say I enjoyed as much as the Scarlett series.
That being said, Mrs. Olson hit one of my bigger pet-peeves as she wrote Lex's trip to L.A. (were the Scarlett series takes place) in a side story. Had I not already read this story on Kindle Unlimited I would be fairly P.O.ed but Boundary Lines was good enough to make up for this. So those of you that are hoping to see the Lex and Scarlett team-up than this is not the book for you.
No but it did remind me why I love urban fantasy.
There are two thing I found wrong with Kate Rudd performance
One: She can be a little to very melodramatic, most of these moments are when Lex is distressed and make Lex sound more distressed than she might other wise.
Two: Her accent can be distracting naming in one character who is supposed to have a British accent sounding like she's from the bronx.
I have say I really enjoyed this book.
I said in my review of Boundary Crossed that Lex while just as developed was not as enjoyable as Scarlett.mainly because of she lacks the friends that show her more light-hearted side and I stand by that.
In Boundary Lines she has friends like Simon, Lily, Quinn and oddly enough (for me anyway) Maven. Thus I saw her more relaxed and at times wise@$$ side that made the book so much more enjoyable.
I can honestly and happily say if are a fan of urban fantasy this would an awesome choice to add to your library.
This is a great new series and I can't wait for the next one. Melissa Olson created a believable world with interesting characters. The plot is full of twists and turns and moves at a fast pace. I can't wait until the next book is released.
"Great 2nd Book in Series"
Really enjoyed this 2nd book in this series. Loved the story & the growth of the characters. This story definitely has some great unexpected twist & turns. Also enjoyed getting to see more of Sashi from Bloodsick.
"Perhaps a different narrator?"
I liked the story but I don't really like the narrator for this story. The main character is from Colorado, but the narrator keeps making the characters sound like they're from the bronx.
"Boundary lines book 2"
I highly recommend this book. The main character is snarky, funny but always trying to see the bigger picture. A very good paranormal book without all the sex.
I love the series the karacters are very real i relate to Lex it 's not easy to live in a world where you don't fit . i' m head over heels in love with Lilly . It Feels like my private litle world i can visit over and over again to see family. thats important isn't it?
If you can give a feeling like that to a reader you have won the superbowl as a writer. i love the story because even after reading so many books in my life i cant even remember how many the story is as original as it gets! i have the first three books and now i have seen there are more! i will buy the rest please keep on writing Melissa i love your books. the only problem i have with the story's is that i can'turn them off! The narator sounds great! i am convinced that a good narator can make an audio book even if the story is not top notch good or even great to listen to . I am also convinced that a bad narator can break a good book some audio books from story's i love are terible because the narator needs some work or is terible. i love Kate rudd her voice i have bought book because she narated them her voice calms me down so i can concentrate on the story that she also sounds therably Sexy at time's has nothing to do with that what so ever! only my friends are bothered that sometimes it seems that they are standing at the door of a villa in Italy in the book inkheart and im screaming at them to stop ringing the damm bell! but i think that a small price to pay
Very imaginative and loved new characters. I didn't want to stop listening because wanted to know what would happen next. Starting book 3 now.
"Could be so much better"
Why is she so dumb with the cops? This dude, Keller, is all hot to trot for her and she doesn't see him without an attorney, the way he treats her I wouldn’t let him near me with a ten foot pole without an attorney present. And seriously, are these cops so hard up that they have to chase her down on every little thing? How they try to tie her to all these incidents is laughable.
How could she not walk away when they are questioning her about all the incidents? They had nothing to keep her on, so when they piss her off, just walk off.
Never, ever, ever, talk to the police without an attorney present.
Her voice is okay, slightly annoying on annunciation
I'm not sure
"Another Great Book!"
Well I started with the first book on the series. It was so good that I didn't want to stop reading so I had to go for the audio when I got to work. of course I was so in to it that when I finished I want it to know what came next where the characters went, did, grow and develop so yes I went to the second book. The writing is great, the pace and development of the story fluid and exciting. I can go on but I really want to read the next book so you take a chance and find out for yourself you won't regret it!! I could be on chapter 2 now of the 3rd book in the series with that said you need to trust me you will like it. Doodles!!
"It just keeps getting better!"
I can't believe I haven't read this series before! Love it, couldn't put it down.
