Summary
Virus. Chaos. Survival. Alienated in a world where he doesn't fit in, Christian Black survives because he's different. Then the virus came, and made the world turn different, too. Now people are dying by the million. Food supplies are short. Riots are blazing through the streets, and Christian's only goal is to keep his family alive. But safety lies far from the city, and just getting out will be tougher than anyone knows.

OK, but too much graphic violence.
This is an interesting short story and quite prescient under current circumstances. However, I disliked the unnecessarily graphic descriptions of violence, which distracted from the story and were very unpleasant.

Short
I liked the pace, and content of the book, the storyline is just one of many in this genre, the only reason it hasn't got full marks is, it was too far short

Short story
Good start/introduction to the story…. Too short for my preference though. Would consider buying further books in this vein.

Good n fast
I enjoyed the fast pace and the storyline.
Seems like a prelude to the Dusty’s Diaries’ story - which I loved. The reader is good but not great and.

A mediocre virus apocalypse story
It's just simply run of the mill with some cringe worthy moments with characters dying really quickly and nothing having any real meaning. At one point the main character comes upon some truly evil people whom he executes without prejudice in what feels like a revenge/power fantasy projection by the author.
Overall it was just forgettable.
