"An excellent overview of Zen."
The topic has always fascinated me and the author covered the subject very well given the allotted time. It was an easy "listen" with interesting coverage. I especially liked the section which addressed Zen as a religion vs a way of life.. I'd recommend this as a good introduction to Zen.

it's gentle flow makes it sound simple, but when you pay attention to what is said it may take a lifetime to understand.
This was a very wonderful book. I really enjoyed it and it makes me want to practice zen. I hope I can find a teacher as good as the author of this book.
This is an overview story of what zen is and what you should know when starting to plan to become Buddhist. It gives no information what so ever about how to proceed in your zen stylish life. The voice of the narrator is clear and comfortable.
