"Some great points, but"
I think this book might be better enjoyed read than as a audio book. The author quotes long bible passages which are better absorbed by reading off the page.
"Women of America take your place"
This is truth, we must take our place, as God's called with humility. We must be stripped of pride and make Him Lord of all.
I really loved this book...I just had a hard time sometimes with the narrative. overall, though, excellent reading!
"One of her best"
One of her best! We are daughters (and son's) without rival. I especially loved her woman's point of view on the story of Abraham and Sarah.
She doesn't pull any punches when it comes to speaking truth. I like that about the Bevere's. They preach and teach what we need to hear, not just what we want to hear.
I loved every minute of this book!!! it was just what I needed and came just at the right time... it was beautifully read by the author
"Great book but hard for me to listen to."
This was a great book- the message was clear and very applicable.
The audio version was difficult for me to listen to. I had to speed her up a little and even so it kinda had a robot way of speaking.
I would have stopped listening- but the message was so great.
Loved the content, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the book versus listening to the audio, the Author's voice lacks "excitement" and I found myself having to replay areas when I would snap out of a trance and realize I hadn't heard the last 5 minutes of what she said.
This book has completely changed the way I have been viewing and handling things. It's a great read.
