Another amazing life changing book by Andrew Farley. You have through your words given me hope and allowed me to understand the truth of the gospel. I am truly free.
Thank you Dr Farley.
"This will make you free"
Andrew delivers a timely , well thought out apologetic for the true message of the new testament .
The modern parables that he uses really help to get the point across .
The narration in this book is okay but not the best I have heard ! Well worth the listen !
"Really bad narration."
I enjoyed Andrew Farley's newest book, God Without Religion, so I decided to give this one a try. However, I couldn't get through more than about 15 minutes of listening to this one. The narrator is just unbearable which is sad because I'm quite sure that the book would be just as good as his newest one.
"Great book. Terrible, infomercial-like narration."
I really could not listen to more than a few minutes of listening to Don Reed's narration of this wonderful Andrew Farley book on grace. My ears hurt and I could not focus on the book, felt like I was listening to a really, REALLY cheesy and looooooong radio commercial from the 1940s. I would recommend Andrew Farley's other title, "God Without Religion", which is expertly narrated by Maurice England.
"The Naked Gospel"
I hope I can get through this book. The phony sounding narrator is horribly distracting from the message.
just makes so much sense and helped me relieze the truth in the Gospel!!!!!
A step toward understanding the Bible's message for perhaps the first time. Legalism hates this message because it Liberates the captives by showing what Christ has really done for them in the Gospel! Satan hates this for the same reasons. Be Free for once; so you can Worship, and mean it!
"Not my favorite"
No, not on audio anyway. The reader of the book was awful. He sounded like a game show host, which when reading a book on Christ makes it even more awful.
Something in fiction.
I did not like anything about this performance. Thought it was bad. Sorry Don.
Yes and no about the follow-up. I'm not sure that I agree with everything Farley has to say. This is a book I would feel better actually reading, as opposed to listening to it, so that I can go back and do my own research on some things Farley brings up.
I don't think Andrew Farley's book is "dangereous" l but I can see where his Naked Gospel could be confusing to some. I think he has some good points but they need to be flushed out better than they were in the book.
"Not the Gospel"
The gospel presented in this and I assume other works by Andrew Farley is not accurate. It completely leaves out the aspect and importance of faith. In attempt to boil down and simplify the gospel, it completely ignores faith. As Hebrews 11 describes all those past and present have been saved by faith. This book also informs
